We will begin the road to the salt cathedral of Zipaquirá, the largest underground temple in the world. Located in the Andes mountain range and almost 180 meters deep, you will immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful temples carved in salt rock on our planet.
Through its 14 stations, which represent Christ's steps towards the Cross, you will reach the main nave, a place of harmony and connection, the scene of great musical creations. Studied by musicologists, considered a magical space given its incredible acoustics.
We will get to know a little about Zipaquira. This town that was the prelude to the communal revolution and that still preserves the colonial imprint in its architecture, we will pass by the occasional store to buy a souvenir carved in salt rock.
Finally, we will go to the City of the Moon (Chía), where we will find the Andrés Carne de Res restaurant, a place to live a unique local gastronomic experience, with varied music and entertainment for the whole family.

What To Expect
Catedral De Sal
We begin our journey to the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral from Bogotá, the journey will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Visit with us a small municipality in Colombia, the largest underground temple in the world, carved entirely from salt rock. At 180 meters deep you will find the first Wonder of Colombia, with a structure that was designed to enchant its visitors and parishioners from its entrance to its main nave, a sacred point of spiritual connection. Zipaquira
Afterwards we will get to know some of the streets of the town, its square and its church and we will be able to connect with its history by eating some of the traditional sweets of the grandparents, or a delicious almojábana of traditional preparation. The final stop will be in Andrés carne de res, it will take us around 45 minutes to get from Zipaquirá to Chía, during the trip we will be able to see a little more of the beautiful Cundinamarca Savannah.

5.00Excellent service and attention! Manuel was always very kind to everyone and was attentive to whatever was needed. We arrived very late to Bogotá and our suitcases did not arrive. He waited for us at the airport until we could resolve the issue and the next day he accompanied us to pick up our suitcases and verify that everything was fine, a service that I would definitely recommend and would hire again.
