Jihad accompanied us on a tour between Castle, Muscat Fort and Mutrah Souk, guiding us and providing us with all the useful information. We were also at the Rozna buffet which I recommend to do! Trust me.

A wonderful day trip with Amer as our guide. He happily shared his knowledge of Omani history, culture and customs and tailored the day yo our needs. The scenery en route to tge Wadi was stunning and it was a delight to swim in its warm, crystal clear water. The scale of the desert was awe inspiring and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the dunes. Amer then kindly made us fresh tea, coffee and locally prepared snacks. All in all an excellent day.

My guide Sulaiman was amazing - so knowledgeable, and so patient. This was the first day of Ramadan, and he was cheerful and energetic throughout. Wadi Bani Khalid is utterly beautiful, and you can swim there too. We also visited a Bedouin house (opportunity to ride camels available, but not taken advantage of). We then headed off into the desert to watch the sunset, before rushing back into the nearest village in time to break the fast.
