What To Expect
Urca
After leaving Marina da Glória, we will pass by the Plays do Flamengo, Botafogo, Urca, the former Casino da Urca and the War High School. We will also have the opportunity to take beautiful photos of Corcovado and the background of the Pedra da Gávea.
Praia Vermelha
Then we left the bay between the forts of São João and Laje and anchored at Red Beach. The view is simply stunning and is one of the only places where you can frame in a single photo both the Sugar Bread and the Redeemer Christ. Perfect stop for a barbecue (additional) and also for a sea bath!

5.00I celebrated my 30 years on this tour and it was one of the best experiences of my life! I am from outside Rio, so I searched a lot before closing and, within what I found, the Velas do Rio was the best cost-effective. The service was impeccable since the first contact via WhatsApp, were super attentive and took my doubts with patience and transparency, which left me very confident in the choice. Jerome and Michael are amazing hosts, very friendly, experienced and careful with the safety. They explain everything right, give instructions and even share information about the tourist attractions with a lot of knowledge. The boarding service is also perfect: very tasty food, excellent picay and wonderful drinks, all served with a lot of capricho. The catamaran is extremely comfortable, clean and well taken care of. To complete, the sea was super nice, with little wind, and we were presented with a beautiful sunset, which did not appear in the previous days! It was all perfect! Me and my family were delighted and definitely recommend to everyone!!

5.00We did a catamaran tour on March 10, 2026 and it was just fantastic! The Jérôme team did a great job. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, accommodating and made us feel comfortable all the time. The atmosphere on board was relaxed and we had a really great time. You can tell that the team is there with a lot of passion. Thank you for this beautiful experience – we can absolutely recommend the tour!

5.00We booked a private tour with my family and had a super nice day. The service onboard was perfect, with great food and drinks. The captain was very friendly and asked us what would we prefer. We went on the other side of the bay where we stopped and did the barbecue which was delicious. On the boat there was plenty of space for everyone to sit or lay down in the front. We came back during sunset which was amazing and finished our journey. I would recommend to everyone who seeks a nice and personal experience with a super cool Captain and crew!!

5.00An exceptional experience to discover the city from a completely different perspective. Viewed from the water, Rio offers a striking view! How lucky to be able to contemplate the incredible beauty of the landscapes from the deck of a boat. The magic happens from the first minute. The return to port in the late afternoon, swollen with gold, is spectacular. The kindness and discreet attention of the crew also contribute to making this ride a timeless one.

5.00Excellent service from beginning to end. Jerome is very responsive and works with you on your preferred route before the boat ride. The boat itself is very comfortable, spacious, safe, and the onboard service is impeccable. The crew (João and Micael) deserve a special recognition as they made our day on the bay really pleasant. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. Overall, a perfect experience that I would definitely repeat and highly recommend to others!
The best way to enjoy the river with family and friends, especially the all inclusive tour!
