Trang An Landscape Complex as it is called was designated a UNESCO heritage site and is one of the most scenic environments in the world. It is a magnificent terrain of limestone karst mountains filled with valleys, a lot of them partially submerged and encircled by steep, almost perpendicular cliffs.
Trang An is also referred to an 'outdoor geological museum' with its abundant caves, hills and plains, lakes, trees, woods and historical remains. Trang An caves have seen decades of years of architectural explorations which confirm years of human activities, stretching back almost thirty thousand years ago.
Only Mua Cave brings you a chance for viewing the picturesque landscape of Tam Coc from the peak above.

What To Expect
8:00 Start our beautiful journey to Ninh Binh Around 10:30 arrive at Trang An. Take the amazing boat trip to visit Trang An grottoes whichis a gathering of 31 valleys, 50 cross-water caves, and home to 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna, many of them in the Red Book of Vietnam. While rowing through Trang An grotto in the quiet, fresh air of the highlands, with only the sound of birds and the oars stirring the clear water and surrounded by magnificent forested mountains upon which graze white goats, visitors enjoy a heaven on earth. The end of the day, drive back to Hanoi. 13:00: Enjoy fabulous lunch in nice local restaurant and goat meat is the one you should try. 14:00: After lunch, we start the biking trip to discover the beauty of countryside and amazing dancing cave. 16:00 leave dancing cave and drive back to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at 6:30pm. Finish unforgettable full day trip at your hotel in Hanoi!

5.00We booked a private Ninh Binh day trip through Rose at Roll with Locals, and it turned out to be the highlight of our Hanoi trip. Rose was already occupied on the day but seamlessly arranged our guide Quang and a driver — both excellent. The coordination was smooth and we never felt like an afterthought despite the last-minute arrangement. Quang was knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely good company throughout the day. He read our pace well and made the experience feel personal rather than transactional. The absolute standout was the private boat at Tràng An. Just the two of us gliding through the caves and karsts in complete quiet — the natural beauty is genuinely breathtaking and having the boat to ourselves made it even more special, both for the experience and for photographs. If you’re travelling as a couple, the private boat upgrade is non-negotiable. Worth every dollar. We skipped the Hang Mua climb for personal reasons but had zero regrets — Tràng An more than filled the day. Highly recommend Rose and the Roll with Locals team for anyone looking for a well-organised, personal Ninh Binh experience.

5.00It was an awesome experience having local cuisine in Hanoi. Had banh Mi which was amazing (one of our favorite) and other few more cuisine too. Lastly, we finished with the famous ha long bay. Rose was an excellent guide and so we're her team members (Mr Linh in Hanoi and Mr. Dar in Da nang) and were depth knowledge of all the places. Very good in English and a very friendly guide too. It was a pleasure meeting her and both her team members mentioned above whom she arranged for usand would highly recommend her.

5.00It was a beautiful day, they picked us up from our hotel at 7AM and drove us out to Ninh Binh and we grabbed coffee from a local codes shop and then took a boat ride and explored the countryside

5.00Rose is friendly, good English, wants you to be comfortable and to get the most out of the experience. She chose stops and restaurants carefully so that food was varied and a real experience. Other travelers talk about overcrowding and rubbish in Halong Bay...we were taken to an area that was pristine and no other tourist boats in site. Both she in Hanoi and Dat in Hoi An are fun, considerate, informative and the real deal. The cultural exchange in Mai Hich was a highlight, but only one of many. Both Rose and Dat will adapt according to weather, and according to peoples' need and ability. I recommend wholeheartedly.

No1 tour guide Rose Nhung, an absolute gem, so passionate about her country Vietnam and very enthusiastic to share the countrys history, culture, & people to everyone she takes on her tours, she is extremely professional in what she does, incredibly funny, all our tours were just a wonderful experience because of her, not only that, travelling with her on our tour bus we had alot laughs and compared cultural similarities which was very interesting. Her tours are excellent value for money and more, and Rose is a very lovely, knowledgable, happy, very helpful, would go out of her way to keep her clients happy. 5.00We had an amazing experience with Rose and her team! Rose was so knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help — nothing was ever too much trouble. Our days were filled with unforgettable moments, from mountain homestays to a boat cruise and kayaking in Ha Long Bay, plus fantastic street food tours. Dat, who looked after us in Central Vietnam, was equally wonderful. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. We can’t recommend Rose and her team highly enough. Thank you, Rose, Huyen and Dat, for making our Vietnam trip so special!

5.00Would highly recommend Rose especially if in need of an English speaker. She showed us around Ninh Binh and took us to less common paths, so it felt more intimate and special. She gave us insightful information on the country and its systems as it was my first time in Vietnam. She was lovely. Would definitely book her again in my future tours. Take care, Rose!
