What To Expect
Your private journey from Antigua to Panajachel is designed to provide you with comfort and peace of mind throughout your entire trip. When you book with us, we will provide all the necessary information to the driver for pick-up and drop-off. The vehicle is identified with the company name. The usual route that we take is from Antigua, passing through the towns of El Tejar, Patzicia, Tecpan, Las Trampas, Las Cruces, and arriving in Panajachel. We make a stop halfway to Panajachel at a farm called "Pueblo Real" for 10 minutes, allowing you to use the restroom, grab a cup of coffee at the cafeteria, purchase a souvenir, or simply relax outside the vehicle. Additionally, you will be delighted by the scenery along the way. We will stop at the outlook at "Churrunel Village" for 5 minutes, giving you the opportunity to capture pictures of the amazing view.

3.00Booked our 2.5 hour “Private car ride” from Antigua to Panajachel, to be greeted by a van with passengers already in the front seat bench with the driver. It was his family. Thought it was strange , but then figured it was a Sunday, maybe they live in Panajachel, made a day trip to Antigua, and were going home for the night in our private car ride, fine. But no, he made a detour to his wife’s hometown half way there, to drop them off. This detour took us through the southern route, hairpin curve after hairpin curve with no street lights. It was a cramped, rickety van. Totally empathize with family needs, but it shouldn’t have been sold to us as a “private car ride” at $50 per person. Feel like our time and money were taken advantage of.

5.00This is not the first time I travel with 502 Tourist Destinations, but the first time I leave a review, it was fair and necessary! I have traveled with them several times and I have always had to travel with Bayron, who in addition to being an excellent driver, is a great person: friendly, responsible and very professional. This time he took us from Antigua Guatemala to Panajachel, and a few days later he picked us up in Santiago Atitlan to take us back to Antigua. The whole trip was comfortable, safe and pleasant. I will definitely continue to travel with them and recommend them with complete confidence.
