1.00The trip to Essouira was great. Comfortable car, skills driver, organized. The return was the exact opposite. The car was late and was literally a normal taxi car, not a private vehicle. To top it off, the seat belts didn’t work. The driver tried to make us go anyway, but we insisted on basic safety. After going back and forth with the service, they finally got us a different car, but this time with a driver who could barely see and didn’t know how to navigate Marrakech. Inexcusable and dangerous. I highly recommend against using them.

Deceiving advertising

1.00The advertising only shows large cars and black SUVs, which is what we thought we would get. When making the booking, we were only asked how many people were travelling and we indicated 4. At no point we were asked to choose the type of car so we assumed we were going to get the large car, as it was advertised. When I was contacted on whatsapp, I reiterated that we were 4 people + 4 large suitcases. I then get a phone call saying that at the meeting point, I should look « for a blue car ». When arriving there, we were very surprised and disappointed to find a small regular city taxi, for a 3-hour trip …. We had no space, the trip was very uncomfortable and the seats at the back had no seat belt.

5.00I booked this to transport three of my friends from Marrakech to Essaouira. The operator communicated seamlessly via whatsapp and went the extra mile to make sure they got to Essaouira comfortably and timely. The driver even stopped to get them coffee, and also stopped at an argan oil coop on the way.

5.00Youssef was amazing! He made sure we had a comfortable ride, water and even stopped to Make sure we were fed (best tajine we had one the trip). After the initial trip, we ended up booking him for the rest of our trip to go back and to the airport. He’s so so sweet and we couldn’t recommend him enough!

5.00Younes drove me from Marrakech to Essaouira. Really nice guy, and the service was excellent. Despite my 4-hour flight delay, he was there waiting when I arrived. We reached Essaouira around 11:30pm. I'd barely eaten all day so was grateful Younes took me to a nice place where I could get some much-needed food at this late hour. I'm happy I didn't hire a car. Various aspects of Moroccan driving would have been stressful if seeing it for the first time and trying to navigate late at night. The transfer allowed me to sit back and relax. Younes did not speak much English, and I speak minimal French and no Arabic. But that wasn't a problem. We worked it out!
