What To Expect
Acropolis
The first stop is at the Acropolis, to see the architectural monuments of the Golden Age of Athens, including the Parthenon, Erectheion the temple of Athena Nike and the magnificent views of the city all the way to Aegean sea. The Acropolis is located on a flattish-topped rock that rises 150 m (490 ft) above sea level in the city of Athens, with a surface area of about 3 hectares. Most of the major temples, including the Parthenon, were built by order of Pericles during the so-called "Golden Age of Athens"(460–430 BC).
Arch of Hadrian
The triumphal arch lies on an ancient street that led from the old city of Athens to the new, Roman section, built by Hadrian. It was constructed by the Athenians in A.D. 131, in honor of their benefactor emperor.

5.00We had a fantastic day with Spiros! He was kind, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, which truly enhanced our time in Athens. From the moment he picked us up at the Port of Piraeus, we felt completely at ease. Our tour began with a visit to the iconic Acropolis, where Spiros shared fascinating insights into its ancient history, including stories about the Parthenon and the origins of democracy. After exploring the site, he took us to a wonderful local restaurant he recommended — the food was absolutely delicious and felt authentically Greek. In the afternoon, we toured more of the city's highlights, including the historic Panathenaic Stadium — the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble and home to the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. We also witnessed the ceremonial Changing of the Guards at the Hellenic Parliament, a tradition steeped in history and national pride. Athens Taxi Wagon exceeded our expectations, and Spiros made it a truly memorable day. We would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Athens!

5.00The taxi driver was so sweet and curtious. He made sure we were comfortable and took great care that we saw all the highlights of the city. To top it off, he took us to a fabulous restaurant for lunch and ordered us our meal since we didn't speak Greek. We couldn't have seen all the highlights of the city without his guidance. I highly recommend taxi wagon. .

5.00Athens Taxi Wagon was great. Responded to my What’s App inquiry and further messages promptly. Spiro was our driver for the day. He picked us at the cruise terminal and took us to all the major highlights of Athens city, found us a great place on the beach for lunch, down to the Poseidin Temple then to the airport. He was informative, attentive and looked after us very well. He made our last day in Greece memorable. Would recommend Athens Taxi Wagon.

5.00On our first family trip to Greece I was worried about navigating the city with a small child. Alexi, and his team made it super easy, and comfortable for us. He took us to all the popular sites and gave us tips on how to navigate around the thousands of tourist trying to visit the same places. He took great care of us, and even catered to our 6 year old. We didn't have the greatest cruise experience (not part of his service) but his day tour of Athens made up for it. We will definitely use his services again on our next trip to Greece. 5.00We are still talking about how lucky we were to find Alexis with Athens Taxi Wagon ! He picked us up at the airport on arrival and brought us to our hotel. The next morning he picked us up for an Athens landmark tour. We saw so many amazing sites that we would have never been able to see on our own in the short time we had before our cruise left the port. Alexis has extensive knowledge of his city and it's history. He was so personable and it felt like we were driving through town with a friend ! We finished our tour at a fantastic local restaurant for lunch . Alexis - when we get back to Athens we will certainly book with you for our airport transfer and to finish any sites we didn't see !!!
