We offer private trips so you can have a great time with your family and/or friends. Since your group will be the only one in the boat we can spend more time doing the activities of your choice, we can personalize your food, equipment and special requirements. Our boats are nice and confortable, in super good shape. Our crew members are mainly marine biologists to make your trip more knowledgeable.

What To Expect
We will navigate from la Paz to the farthest north part of Espiritu Santo Island observe the Sea Lions at La Lobera. The snorkeling activity is closed June-August due to the Sea Lion mating season. We will also give you a tour around the island to show you a lot of beautiful pristine beaches and crystal clear water bays. We will also have lunch at one of these places to relax and enjoy nature in a unique and magical way.

Espiritu Santo boat tour with Up Dive company!

5.00We had a great boat day with UP Dive company in La Paz! Our hosts Miguel & Regina were personable and professional & come from a Marine Biology background. They know a lot of great information about sea life and the best places to visit during the boat tour. The boat was spacious, clean, quiet and had an overhead canopy for shade and also plenty of space to get sun too! They served a nice fresh ceviche lunch, snacks & drinks. We visited caves, private coves, and two beautiful tranquil beaches with turquoise waters for some sunning & swimming! And lucky us, we even saw dolphins and orcas! It was incredible. The trip was scenic and beautiful. And our hosts Miguel and Regina were excellent. 5.00The trip was spectacular. The captain drives very well and I always felt safe with my children! We swam with the wolves and saw many impressive fish and corals! The agility of the captain and Miguel led us to see whales, dolphins and manta rays!

5.00These guys are pros. We had an amazing experience. Our guide David was super knowledgeable and easy to be around. He is great with kids too. He helped our 4 year old in the water with the sea lions. We saw whales and dolphins and had an delicious lunch as well. We felt very safe in the boat. Our Captain Charlie was great and let us know if it was going to be a little rough but mostly kept it nice and easy. I can’t say enough about this trip.
Extraordinary, we traveled to family, Miguel and Regina made the trip enjoyable and fun for my daughters 3 and 5 years

5.00This private tour was absolutely spectacular--in part due to the incredible natural areas we visited and also because Miguel and Regina are fantastic guides. Everyone in our party was delighted by this experience, especially snorkeling with the sea lions, tropical fish, and coral reef. A delicious lunch on a small beach in a secluded bay was the perfect way to complete our tour. It is rare for everyone in my family to equally enjoy any activity, but we all agreed that this was the highlight of our entire vacation. Highly, highly recommend!

5.00This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken anywhere. The skipper (Charlie) and tour guide (Dani) were top notch, and the tour guide knew a lot about the area and the animals we were seeing. We saw three humpback whales, dozens of manta rays, and hundreds of beautiful birds. Of course, the highlight was snorkeling with sea lions, along with lots of colorful fish. If a private tour is too expensive, I’m sure a group tour would be fantastic as well. Either way, this should be on your short list if you go to La Paz. One caveat: If you get seasick, be sure to take medication for that beforehand, as the water is quite choppy around the sea lion rookery.

5.00Miguel and Up Dive did an unbelievable job taking us out swim with the sea lions. Miguel being a Marine Biologist was an extra bonus as he highlighted many aspects of the sea life and terrain. Miguel and Captain Charlie most hospitable and knowledgeable hosts- their homage ceviche quite tasty as well. If you plan on visiting the sea lions look no further than UpDive
