Perched above the Atlantic Ocean and the Bou Regreg River, the Kasbah of the Udayas is one of Rabat’s most picturesque landmarks. This historic fortress, dating back to the 12th century, is famous for its peaceful atmosphere, narrow blue-and-white streets, and breathtaking panoramic views. Walking through the Kasbah feels like stepping into a charming coastal village, where history, architecture, and daily life blend beautifully.
Andalusian Gardens
Located inside the Kasbah, the Andalusian Gardens offer a tranquil escape from the city’s bustle. Designed in traditional Moorish style, these lush gardens feature orange trees, colorful flowers, fountains, and shaded walkways. It is the perfect place to relax, take photos, and enjoy the calm ambiance of one of Rabat’s most beautiful green spaces.

What an amazing experience! A sheer delight is Mr Hassan who is well travelled himself and an excellent guide. Each visit was well worth doing as part of the tuk tuk package as opposed to planning each segment independently. Each location bought out a higher sense of appreciation of the culture, history and art that is rooted in Rabat. Rabat is like i I had to change my timing quite last minute due to going to the wrong train station and upon contacting Taha Explore they were very understanding and accomodating to give me alternative booking. They were professionally courteous and were extremely responsive in their communication with me. The atmosphere at each site was awesome with some of the stops being more busier than others but that did not detract from the overall essence of the respective visit. Mr Hassan was a real gem brimming with local knowledge and even stopped to have a tea break. I was honoured to have had my trip fulfilled with Mr Hassan as he made the whole experience much more elevated. In short, if you are in Rabat (- or even if you are not, as I was staying outside Rabat when I booked this but did so based on previous reviews about Mr Hassan) give this experience a go with this local legend. Thank you Mr Hassan & Tuk Tuk Tours Rabat. Shukran Bezeuf!!

The walk was amazing! Hassam was very comprehensive! I had problems with the flight and we had to postpone the tour, but it was done without any bureaucracy. Hassam picked me up at the train station and left me at the hotel door at the end of the tour. Definitely a very attentive and helpful guide. I felt safe throughout the ride. An experience that I definitely indicate.

This was a really enjoyable way to see Rabat and surrounding area. Its quite a big area so this was an ideal way to do it. I got lots of good photos and also saw places that I wouldn't have seen on my own. Definitely take this tour - Hasan was really interesting and kind.

We highly recommend Hassan and this half day tour. Excellent Tuk Tuk driver named Hassan with a friendly personality. We enjoyed him very much. He took photos of us at the important stops. He also helped us find a good restaurant for lunch at the end. Don’t expect a lot of detail at the stops. He is not there to provide the level of history you get with a walking tour guide but I was pleased with how much he told us and the sights he pointed out. This was a great orientation to Rabat for us. Definitely someone you can feel good about giving a tip at the end.

Hassan 38 was incredibly kind to us; he was our tour guide during our tuk-tuk excursion. He is a well-known, respected driver, admired by everyone. His warmth and generosity were truly touching, as he provided us with bottled water and some traditional Moroccan sweets. Honestly, I will never forget this trip, and we look forward to repeating the experience with him in the future. He is truly worthy of trust and appreciation

His name is Hassan—a name that means 'the good and beautiful,' and he truly lives up to it. With his badge number 38, it is as if he was created solely to bring you happiness. A true son of the beautiful city of Rabat, he knows its historical monuments by heart and is a master of the Old Medina’s narrow, winding, and charming alleys. He never hesitates or delays in serving us, from capturing perfect photos for us to buying bottles of water and sweets during our tour. He is indeed a generous, kind, and exemplary man. We spent three hours with him that were the most beautiful and happiest times of our lives—moments we will never forget. I highly recommend all visitors to discover the capital of Morocco, the beautiful city of Rabat, with him, because he is truly worthy of it.
