What To Expect
Buddha Park
Explore Xieng Khuan, also known as Buddha Park, located 25 km southeast of Vientiane. This open-air sculpture park is famous for its giant statues of Buddha and Hindu deities, created by monk and sculptor Bunleua Sulila in 1958.
Patuxay Monument
Visit Patuxay, the Laotian equivalent of the Arc de Triomphe. This war monument was built between 1957 and 1968 to commemorate those who fought for independence from France.
