Enjoy this spectacular private walk with your friends, and you'll experience a little bit of everything – bush, beaches, headlands and vineyards.

We start with a walk through restored and regenerating bush up to the headland for some breathtaking views of the islands of the Hauraki Gulf.

We continue through lush, established bush tracks and rolling hills, where you’ll enjoy lovely views of valleys, vineyards and the sea.

There’s time for wine tasting and/or lunch at two of Waiheke’s best-loved vineyards – Mudbrick Vineyard, Jurassic Ridge or Cable Bay Vineyards – with tasting options to suit all budgets.

This spectacular walk has a little bit of everything – bush, beach, headlands, and vineyards. Beginning with a walk through restored and regenerating bush up to the headland for some spectacular views of the islands of the Hauraki Gulf. We continue on through lush established bush tracks and through the rolling hills overlooking beautiful valley, vineyard and sea views where there is time available for wine tasting and/or lunch at two of Waiheke’s best loved vineyards - Mudbrick Vineyard, Jurassic Ridge or Cable Bay Vineyards – with tasting options to suit all budgets.

A beautiful tour with fantastic views in a suitable pace. The guide was very knowledgeable and could answer all questions. The wine tasting was also very nice and a great lunch

Great tour and we really liked our guide Justine. She is very knolegable, friendly and kind. The tour was a good mix of both the beach/water and the interior bush country.

This was our first full day in New Zealand. We had just arrived the evening before after a long trip from the eastern US, so we were very tired and jet lagged. We can't recommend this day trip from Auckland enough as a way to get started. Robyn was a wonderful guide. The views were fabulous and the wine tastings a lot of fun. Highly recommended and worth the price!

Justine planned and conducted a wonderful outing for four of us (two couples) on Waiheke Island, visiting two vineyards (and eating lunch at a third). This was all planned at the last minute after international flight disruption. So, Justine had to shift our reservations. Everyone was very accommodating. The four of us are curious travelers and ask many questions of those pouring the wines, but Justine kept us more or less on schedule. She was also very patient and generous in answering our many questions about the history of New Zealand, the cultural climate, the flora and fauna. She’s very personable, fun to spend time with. It would have been great to sit down with her at the end of the day and have a pint of ale instead of a sip of wine.

Our hike and wine tasting experience was exceptional. It was the perfect tour for a first day in country! The scenery was simply stunning/beautiful and our guide, Barbara, was the best. Very knowledgeable and so much fun to spend the day with. We highly recommend Terra and Tides Vineyards and Bush Walk......ask for Barbara, she's the best!!!

Justine is a first rate guide. Funny, informed and very friendly. The local wineries were great, and the olive oil tasting was awesome. Couldn’t have asked for a better time!
