What To Expect
Pyramids of Giza
Sun Pyramids Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel, to enjoy an excursion to The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramid of chefren.
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
Then have your lunch at local restaurant and Move to visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented.

5.00We had a great day (we actually split the tour into two parts: day one, the Giza plateau with all the pyramids, a camel ride, and a special permit visit to the Osiris shaft; day two, the Cairo Museum (unfortunately, while we were there, part of its exhibits were being moved to a new Cairo museum) and the Coptic part of Cairo. We were also treated to a delicious lunch). Our guide, Sam, was very positive and attentive, and kept our timings precise, so we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We also booked a meeting and transfer from and to the airport—with the sun pyramids—which was the best decision: we were met upon arrival, given visas, escorted through passport control, baggage claim, and to the car. We also traveled with this company to Saqqara, the Serapeum, Dahshur, and Memphis. I highly recommend everyone visit Saqqara and the Serapeum—they have very beautiful frescoes and interesting pyramids without the huge crowds . The guys helped me organize a vacation for the whole family 🙌🎈

5.00Being a stranger is not fun at all but with the help of our guide, our stay here in Egypt was so much fun! Thanks to our guide Evram! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Evram with a big smile and a very friendly gesture and that was a wonderful start! He's very kind, knowledgeable and fun to be with! He's amazing and wonderful guide! If I would come back to Cairo, I would love to have him again as my tour guide.

5.00We are a family of four from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and we used Sun Pyramids Tours for all of our tours and transportation in Cairo, Egypt. Our tour guide, Sayed Amin, was exceptional and made the overall experience fun and interesting for all of us, including my boys who are 8 and 11. By day two, my boys were calling him, “Egyptian Daddy” because they had such a great time exploring the city with him. Sayed’s knowledge of Ancient Egypt is exceptional and he speaks perfect English, which was important to us, as our kids often have difficulty understanding people with a thick accent. Overall, we highly recommend using this tour company, and specifically requesting this tour guide, when you are in Cairo. Sayed was the absolute best! We also want to thank Nada for answering all of our questions before we arrived, and again throughout our four night stay in Cairo.
Great guides and everything handled so we could just enjoy.

5.00We used Sun Pyramid tours for our entire 6.5 days stay in Egypt. We were me, my wife and 24 year old daughter. We had great guides, Dahlia, Mohammed and Eslam. We were picked up at airport with a driver and guide just outside the terminal. Got an overview of what we would be doing and see if we had any questions. The itinerary was based on what our personal requests were. We stayed at Great Pyramid Inn in Giza. First full day was pyramids and Memphis. Dahlia met us in the lobby. I don't think I would do Egypt without guide and driver. No way I would drive and it is so much easier with a guide arranging everything. Dahlia did a great job explaining the history and also the day to day life in Egypt. 2nd day we saw the Egyptian museum and Coptic Cairo and Islamic Cairo including the Mohammed Ali mosque. The third day we saw the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. We transferred to airport for flight to Luxor. In Luxor we were met at airport once again and stayed at Iberotel on the banks of the Nile. The next day we saw the tombs and temples on the West bank. It was a great day with Mohammed. The next day started with a dawn hot air balloon ride at the valley of the kings. We toured the tombs in the morning as my wife was not feeling well and had missed them. We spent the day seeing the tombs had a great lunch and then saw temples on east bank. That night my daughter and I saw the sound and light show at Luxor temple and had a great meal at Sofra. The following day we were picked up at hotel and had half day tour of Cairo with Eslam. He took us to khan el khalili market and we had mint tea at El Fishawy Cafe. We had lunch at abou tarek for koshary. We saw more of Cairo and were dropped off at La Meridian hotel at the airport. Great company. Great guides very accomodating and had a wonderful trip thanks to Sun Pyramid Tours.
