What To Expect
Water of Leith Walkway
From Edinburgh city centre we make our way west onto the Water of Leith path. The river is known as the 'silver thread in a ribbon of green' running through the city. Chances to stop at two modern art galleries, the last resting place of the city's 'great and good' from times gone by, the ancient Dean Village and bohemian Stockbridge. Then onto the Royal Botanic Gardens and back through the magnificent Georgian New Town to the city centre again

5.00A brilliant day out guided by Gerry who was highly informative and great company. Saw an area of Edinburgh which was relatively unknown to me and it has whet my appetite for a return visit during a time when the City is fully open. Well recommended to all walkers!
