Also on Calton Hill are the Old City Observatory, The Nelson Monument and Edinburgh's Disgrace (Monument to Waterloo)

From Pilrig House with it's connections to Robert Louis Stevenson, JK Rowlings early days in Edinburgh, Leith Links - the real Home of World Golf, Trainspotting and Proclaimers "Sunshine on Leith" locations, French Leith in the 16th Century to Leith's Shore and it's rise to food excellence. Finally on to the Royal Yacht Britannia (entry not included).

5.00Our guide,Gerry, went out of his way before our tour to learn about our interests to better personalize our experience. We had a wonderful day walking from Calton Hill through New Town and Leith to the port of Leith. Highly recommend Gerry’s tours. He is a very friendly and knowledgable companion for a day in Edinburgh.

5.00Excellent private tour. Our guide Gerry was incredibly knowledgable and gave us a fantastic day in Leith and Edinburgh. We learnt about history, culture and much more. We are well traveled and have high standards, and we were very happy with our tour guide Gerry. He even took us to a special bar for a pint of beer at the end. Highly recommended ;))
