The private tour starts where it suits you the best in the old neighborhood you would like to explore. Three old neighborhoods are available : - Old Lévis : the tour focuses mostly on the XIXth century with victorian style buildings and houses, the construction of the French-Canadian identity, the evolution inside the British Empire. - Old Lauzon : here it is mostly about New France, the war of the Conquest (French & Indians War) and American revolutionary war, but not only. - Quai Paquet - Anse Tibbits : best place to learn about the influence of the St. Lawrence river on economy and history, and local history of course. Itineraries will be tailored depending on your pace, interests and background (your family roots for example).

Thank you Xavier for a wonderful tour of Levis! He researched my family tree for me and customized the tour to show me statues of ancestors and important parts of my family history. At his recommendation, we also added a tour of Old Quebec at the end because he wanted to show me our history there as well. He did a great job of tell me about my family while also incorporating it into the larger historical context of the region and cities. On top of all of that, he's a great communicator, very adaptable, super knowledgeable, and a wonderful person!

I am a historical fiction writer. I wanted a private tour focused on Benedict Arnold's activities in 1775. Xavier was incredibly knowledgeable and prepared. His historical understanding is deep-- it goes beyond mere dates and locations-- he helps you feel the evolution of his wonderful city. Finally, (and importantly) he is very pleasant person. I highly recommend him!
