We were in Fano (Las Marches) about 65km away and took a few hours to get to know the oldest Republic in the world. It dates back to 301 AD. We moved by car. The trip is pleasant. Free parking is available on the hillside less than 300 metres from the cable lane leading to the city, on top of Mount Titano, whose height of over 700 metres above sea level provides fabulous views. It's the great Attraction of the place. The whole old city sits on the mountain and there are three towers to see. But the main Attraction is to walk along its streets, buy something (there are many shops and places to eat) and enjoy the medieval atmosphere and the views
