The private tour was amazing. Joanne was so knowledgeable about the different Scottish foods, wines, and whiskies and was so personable. I recommend booking early in your trip so you know food items to try through your stay. 10/10

My wife and I had an amazing time on the tour. We learned a lot about wine and whisky that we didn't know, and got to taste a lot of great food. We highly recommend this to anyone coming to Edinburgh who wants to experience local cuisine with a nice wine pairing, as well as plenty of whisky to choose from.

Perfect pairings - Joanne, restaurant atmosphere, food, wine & whisky. Joanne kicked off with Champagne. We learned the grape varietals, how many twists of the cage & methode of champagne making. Her knowledge of tasting tips including swirling white wine & red wine to experience the release of the aromatics was enlightening. My husband enjoyed collaborating with Joanne on which 2 whisky’s to taste. Tasting whisky with a professional was a first. Joanne’s passion, knowledge & overall professional yet personalized approach was indeed the highlight for us.

My girlfriend and I were visiting Edinburgh and we were searching for things to do. We decided upon this Whisky, Wine, and Food tour - as two out of three of those were favorites of ours. We had a small group of 7. Joanne, our guide, did an excellent job sharing her knowledge of the food and drink we had. We visited 3 different restaurants. We had various food items paired with different alcohols. We met some really fun people in our group and even learned a few things. This tour is definitely worth it!

Joanne was very knowledable about wine, whisky and the food. We have done many "tastings" and this was by far one of the best! The food was so fresh and was paired perfectly with all we ate. I would recommend Swirl, Sip, Socialize over and over. Fantastic!

Started at the Balmoral Hotel moved on to The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant & finished up at Twenty Princes Street enjoying at least two different types of wine at each place along with varying types of delicious Scottish food. Joanne's knowledge for parings of food & wine, her engaging personality and her passion for Scotland and what she does made the time fly by. This was a great way to start our trip to Scotland and I highly recommend joining Joanne on this adventure. You won't be disappointed!
