A relaxing half-day excursion, in the season, with less boat ride and more swimming in the perfectly clear sea and sunbathing on the most beautiful beaches of the northern Adriatic, ideal for all those who are trying to avoid crowds at public beaches.

After only 40 min. of boat ride from the Punat port, along the coast , we reach the amazing bays, accessible only by sea. I'll show you each of them. We will select some of them, where no other boats or there are not many, and we can stop next to the beach and take a swimming break.

We can also take a break for swimming next to some of the caves or near beautiful rocks suitable for jumping into the sea or snorkeling through the tunnels beneath them.

I am just your skipper and I can give you some suggestions, and you will decide how you want to spend your time.

Most often we have two-three stop depending on your preference, the current situation in the bays, or weather conditions. All in all, more than 1.5 hours of swimming in the sea.

What To Expect

A private boat ride actually means that you are renting a boat with a skipper, just for you and your family or your small group. To visit the most beautiful part of the island of Krk, we offer you two shorter, off-season options, panoramic boat rides (2h or 3h) and one seasonal (from June to September) with lots of swimming in the crystal clear sea (3.5h). We also offer a shorter, two-hour ride in the seasonal period in the form of a sunset boat ride After only 40 minutes by boat from the port of Punat in the direction of Stara Baška, are the most beautiful bays and beaches in the whole northern Adriatic Sea, and accessible only by sea. I'll show you each of them... Fox Bay, Bishop bay, Golden Bay, Long Bay, Cornels bay. In the shorter panoramic rides, it takes a little longer, because we drive right along the coast and between the rocks. A three-hour off-season boat trip can include a visit to the monastery island of Kosljun, but you don't have to, if the sea temperature is suitable for swimming. Swimming and snorkeling in the perfectly clear sea will give you the feeling of absolute freedom in this wonderful wilderness. Departures are 2 or 3 times a day from 9 am to 7 pm.

Swim Tour in the Main Season: This is our standard option for our tour in the main season from June to October.

Ofseason 3h WildBays+Kosljun

Kosljun (Monastery Island): Rent a boat for a 3h ride to Wild Bays with swimming or without, so you can also visit the monastery island.
Duration: 3 hours: 1.5 - 2.5 hour boat ride and 30-90 minutes of swimming and/or a visit to the monastery.
Wild bays + Košljun : During off-season you can also take a boat for a 3,5h ride from Punat to both the Monastery Island(Košljun) and to Wild Bays.

Off-Season(2 h) Wild Bays

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes: The off-season option is shorter without swimming or with one short swim and goes to Stara Baska as well.
From Punat to Stara Baska: During off-season you can take the boat and see the Wild Bays and Stara Baska in 2 h with our without swimming.

Captain Bobo was a great guide for our day on the water. Our group ranged in ages from 8 to 75 and he made sure everyone had a great experience. A few in our group can get motion sickness in rough waters but they also wanted to experience Croatia by boat. Bobo navigated along the coastline to avoid larger waves even as the Bura winds picked up. He found numerous protected coves for our group to explore, swim, and snorkel. The kids, adults, and grandparents all loved it.

We booked a 7.5 hour trip with Captain Bobo. There were 4 adults and 2 children (7 and 8 years old). It left at 9:00 a.m. from the port of Punat. We were in the port at 8:30 a.m. and found a parking space. This was subject to a fee and at 11 euros it was affordable for the entire duration. We left the port at 9:00 a.m. sharp. You have to bring your own food on board. With 2 cooler bags this was no problem. Captain Bobo always stopped in a bay where there were hardly any boats. We were able to swim into caves or jump from rocks into the sea. All of this was also doable with the children. Our kids can swim very well but we had our own life jackets for the caves. There are also some on board. It is advisable to take your snorkeling equipment with you including fins if you want to swim through an underwater tunnel. Captain Bobo also picked us fresh figs, sage and blackberries during a stop in a bay. We will never forget these aromas. Since we had booked the boat exclusively, it was a very personal and relaxing trip for all of us.

Captain Bobo is very nice and helpful and he knows very well the sea and the islands. he shows you the most beautiful places where you can swim, he takes you where you may see dolphins and after swimming, if you are cold, he warms you up with a bit of typical liquor. about vultures we were really lucky. there were many and they were flying, almonst dancing, above our heads! a wonderful show! they flew in formation like the famous Italian "frecce tricolori" fighter planes. Bobo teached us about their life, when they migrate to Africa before winter and they come back in spring for the nest. very interesting and instructive day!! thanks Bobo!!

We a group of 8 adults and 6 children (4 to 9 years) had booked this boat trip. The weather was unfortunately rather rainy and cloudy at the time of departure (even with thunderstorms in the morning) But Captain Bobo and Helena, with whom I had written before, had no doubt that we could drive... And it was the best decision👍 The first swim stop was perfect. A small cave that you can swim through and much more great experiences. Thanks to Bobo. We ALL felt very safe and in good hands aboard his small ship. HIGHLY recommended

We had a wonderful 4 hour boat tour with Captain Bobo this morning. With 6 children and 6 adults was ample space for everyone. For non-swimmers, life jackets and an inflatable boat are available to get to the beach. The children were allowed to sit on the roof and had a great view. Captain Bobo makes sure to stay in the bays at times when it is not crowded. He even jumped off a small rock into the sea with the children. During the trip we learned a lot about the area. The coves were fantastic and we would love to book another ride. Captain Bobo provided an unforgettable experience, we felt very comfortable.

Bobo was an excellent captain and guide! Highly recommended tour to visit the bays of Krk and the surrounding islands on board a boat of your own. Bobo was very helpful to change the itinerary given the Covered sky and took us to see the fallow deer on a small deserted beach. For us on the island of Krk there is only one captain! Hvala Bobo!
