David was a perfect guide, very knowledgeable about both the wine and Lebanese history. David also brought some delicious homemade cookies as well, up and coming cook perhaps? All in all, we feelt very well taken care of and had the adventure we hoped for. Thanks David

Guided by passionate hosts, we explored family-owned estates and renowned vineyards, each offering a unique perspective on Lebanese viniculture. Highlights include visiting ancient cellars, and superior wine tasting. Highly recommend!

I really recommend this tour! David is so nice and he is very experienced. He has been a tour guide for over 35 years and he really knows his stuff. The wine tour was really nice because in the first vineyard, they teach you how to wine taste! To be honest, I didn't think I was going to understand how to do it and I also thought that the whole wine tasting thing was impossible haha. But, after learning how to do it, I can tell you that wine tasting is a very real thing ! Also, the wine was great.

We decide to book with David, after reading many different reviews and deciding his looked the best overall experience. We were not disappointed. We were a party of 4 and David arrived at our hotel in a 7-seater minivan, which was very comfortable for the trip. David is passionate about Lebanon and we had a very informative journey over the mountains to the Bekaa valley. What an unexpected and delightful view as we drove down the valley. We visited 3 wineries - Kefraya, Karoum (a delightful visit) and Ksara. The highlight for us was Karoum, whereby David suggested we try to see if it was open (Sunday) - which it was - but no-one else was there. We had a wonderful tour of the winery by the manager, who let us see inside all the facility, including the amamzing concrete storage facilities. We also sampled some excellent wines. Kefraya has beautiful grounds and estate and we enjoyed a private wine tasting. We noticed this was also a popular destination for locals having BBQ sunday lunch. Ksara is the most commercialised of the wineries we visited, but still a worthwhile visit not least to see the amazing caves. David dropped us off back at our hotel about 6pm, ending a really amazing day. I would thoroughly recommend a tour of the Bekaa valley and could not recommend David highly enough as your tour guide.

David was our guide and he was perfect. Cynthia was the person who handled the arrangements and was equally perfect. We had three days of touring. David is well informed as was able to answer all questions on ALL topics without making one feel “uninformed.” His English was perfect. Cynthia was timely with all responses and easy to work with. For tours, we traveled to Baalbeck. No trip to Lebanon is complete without a visit. We also did two days of wine tasting and the grottos. Lastly, we toured American University in Beirut. David has strong relationships with the winery owners and staff, which made it enjoyable. The wineries were the highlight. We visited five over two days. One of the longer tastings included lunch. Each winery had a selection of both reds and whites at different price points. The selections included big bold cabs with a long finish!! I highly recommend Dave Lebanon when traveling in the country.
