The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
In the morning, your private driver and English speaking guide will pick you up from your Xi’an hotel. Begin the day with a visit to the world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, often called “the Eighth Wonder of the World”. Located about 30 km east of Xi’an, this UNESCO World Heritage site showcases an extraordinary level of ancient sculpture and craftsmanship. Discovered in 1974 by local farmers, the Terracotta Warriors are one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century. 5.00It was a great experience! Our guide, Noble, was terrific, kind, always willing to share knowledge about everything of we saw and went beyond of expectations in everything. He has pretty good English and keep the pace with our kids. As he always say, we don’t need to rush. We were picked up at 9a.mn and delivered in home almost at 8p.m. In the end of the day he took us to dinner and helped find vegetarian food for us. We really appreciate and recommend this for all!

The tour was well arranged and carried out as stated in the travel programm. The tour guide Mr. Noble shared his excellent knowledge of China and regional history in a pleasant manner and provided additional assistance when needed. 5.00My 21 year daughter and I had a great time on the tour and really enjoyed some of the extra touches that the tour guide Sasha was able to offer: lunch and connecting with one of the local celebrities which produced a great souvenir to bring back. The exhibit is stunningly amazing - more than you could have expected and increasing over time as the archaeologists continue to uncover, rebuild and increase the exhibit.
