Enjoy an exclusive excursion - without other participants - to the plateau of the Zugspitze (2,962 metres), as well on the traces of King Ludwig II of Bavaria - to his fairy tale Neuschwanstein castle.
As soon as we have arrived at the fairy tale Neuschwanstein Castle - we will have plenty of great photo opportunities, be it the castle itself, the old Marienbrücke (Mary's Bridge), or the spectacular surrounding mountain area.
Strengthened from a sufficient local lunch, we can now look forward to the impressive Zugspitze.
As soon as we have arrived at the beautiful Eibsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in Bavaria, the new Zugspitz cable car (opened 2017) will take us very close to the highest peak in Germany. During your stay on the plateau you will learn interesting information about the region.

Munich
Your adventure begins in the morning with a pick-up from your Munich accommodation. Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, stocked with cool drinks and light snacks, and get ready for a scenic journey through the heart of Bavaria. As we leave Munich behind, the rolling hills, charming villages, and lush countryside of Bavaria unfold before you. Along the way, we’ll pass picturesque landscapes and enjoy breathtaking viewpoints that showcase the region’s natural beauty. Soon, we arrive at the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle, perched like a fairytale palace among the Bavarian Alps. Surrounded by towering peaks, forests, and sparkling lakes, this legendary castle offers a truly magical experience. Explore its stunning architecture, take in the panoramic views, and immerse yourself in the storybook charm that inspired kings, artists, and dreamers for generations.
Schloss Neuschwanstein
We'll take the shuttle to Mary’s Bridge (as long as the bus is operating and the bridge is open) for some nice pictures, then we walk to Neuschwanstein (the fairytale castle) to explore this beautiful castle from the outside. During our stay, I will take you to the most instagrammable places of this beautiful fairy tale castle - to take some pretty cool pics ;)

5.00We had a fantastic experience with Sepp, visiting Neuschwanstein and the Zugspitze. Would highly recommend. Sepp’s planning and communication in advance of the trip was excellent. He really takes care of every detail and goes to great lengths to make it a special day for his guests. Travel was very comfortable for our party of four and Sepp made sure that we had water and a variety of delicious snacks and sandwiches. Neuschwanstein is an unbelievable site to see and Sepp knew how to avoid the crowds and get us to the best spots. It was a little bit rainy and Sepp had us covered. Lunch at the Zugspitze was fantastic, the best meal I had in Germany. Unfortunately, the views of the Alps weren’t great due to heavy fog but still worth the experience.

Sepp had everything planned and then replanned based on feedback he was getting from his contacts prior to our tour (adjusted time to ensure we would avoid crowds at Zugspitze). He was extremely communicative leading up to our tour date. Accommodated all of our requests that kept our young kiddos and all of us happy and comfortable. (Tea, beer, sparkling wine, food for kids…) It’s always hard to trust a stranger with your family - but based on reviews, we took the leap and it was worth it. Our tour with Sepp was the highlight of our overall trip. He was friendly, fun, safe driver, knowledgeable, and well prepared. If we are back in Bavaria we will definitely be back in touch with Sepp to coordinate our next adventure. Thank you for an amazing experience!

5.00Do not hesitate booking a trip with Sepp! Not only is he kind, knowledgeable, and a conscientious driver, but he made the trip way more enjoyable than if we had done it on our own. We ate great food, and every comfort we asked for was provided to us. He knew the best places for photos of Neuschwanstein, the best places for snacks, and most important, he was an extremely safe and responsible driver.

5.00Sepp was recommended to us in a Facebook group. After getting in touch with him we have booked trips to Neuschwanstein castle and the Zugspitze. The booking process via WhatsApp went absolutely smoothly. Since we have booked two tours Sepp offered us a Munich old town tour for free! All tours were just wonderful. Sepp responded to all of our wishes. Be it in terms of sights, timing, food or drinks. We didn't had to worry about anything during our tours. Sepp is an exceptional host! No need to look for someone else.

5.00100/10 Sepp was our best tour guide throughout our trip of the Netherlands and Germany! We lucked out and got Sepp all to ourselves on our walking tour. He was a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge about the area and a great conversationalist. He answered all of our questions and provided plenty of information about each stop. He was kind enough to offer suggestions for how else we could spend some of our time in Munich. I could not recommend him enough!

5.00Our Hotel recommanded us Sepp the Guide. We couldn't get a better one! Sepp was very knowledgeable in regard to Munich's and King Ludwig the ll history. He told us some fun facts in a pretty good way. It was not part of the tour we have booked, but we even visited the crypt of Ludwig the ll! Sepp did everything he could to make us feel good and comfortable. Highly recomanded
