Sinan Pasha Mosque

During this experience, I will guide you through the history of the mosque, sharing the story of Sinan Pasha and the significance of this site within the multicultural fabric of Prizren. We will also explore the surrounding Old Town, where cobbled streets, charming cafés, and local shops create a vibrant setting around this historic gem.
Next, we’ll hike up to the Prizren Fortress, a historic stronghold overlooking the city. As we make our way along the scenic uphill path, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of Prizren’s Old Town, the Sinan Pasha Mosque, and the Bistrica River winding through the valley. Once at the top, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the city and the surrounding Sharr Mountains — a perfect spot for breathtaking photos. While we take in the scenery, I will share the rich history of the fortress, from its origins in the Byzantine period to its strategic role during the Ottoman era. 5.00Semin, our guide, was great! He definitely has a strong grasp on the history of Prizren and the country of Kosovo and he finds a way to connect the material to the people in his tour. Not only did he lead us on a walking tour that lasted over 2 hours, but he also was very willing to answer any questions we had and even made recommendations for other things to do in Prizren and/or good local places to eat and drink at. Semin is an open, friendly and impressive young man. You can’t go wrong with him! He was truly a wonderful guide. If you’re ever in Prizren, do yourself a favor and book his tour!😊

5.00Semin is very good at what he does. He shows you the country that is so near and dear to his heart. Pristina and Prizren are both cities with different characteristics, but both are lovely in their own way. The former a capital with modern and historic architecture, and the latter a jewel of culture. I cannot recommend Semin’s tour highly enough. He took great care of me for lunch. Also, he does an awesome job with communication. Do yourself a favor, and introduce yourself to beautiful and culturally-rich Kosovo on this stellar tour.
