What To Expect

Shalom everyone, With CHILLI's surf lesson all you need to know is how to swim, to meet us at Hayarkon 40 st, Tel Aviv and to bring a swimming suit and a towel. We will get you ready with proper clothing, the right surfboard for your size and some good Israeli sunscreen. To get ready and get some free coffee you welcome to come 15 minutes before your lesson start. Once we are ready we will take a short walk to the beach. On the beach, we will do some worm up for the body, then we will teach you how to pop-up on the board, talk about safety and the conditions in the water. Most of the lesson will be in the water where the instructor will help you to catch some waves and to try to stand and surf on them. During the lesson, you will be with the instructor which will teach you how to get better balance, how to move in the water, how to find the best waves to catch and much much more. After the lesson, we will go back to the surf school for a shower & coffee and talk & summarize the lesson.

Really fun! Good instructor and we were a group of 6 in total. He focus on everyone and help you out to catch the waves. Realy recommend to try It! For a 2hr lesson, take sunscreen!

Awesome lesson, awesome waves and great instructors! I actually missed my alarm and they were still able to accommodate me coming late which was very generous of them. Came with a wetsuit and spoken English and Hebrew.

My kids 16,14,11 had a great private lesson with Simon this morning. This was their first time surfing and it was a great experience for all of them. My daughter even said that for her it was a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend this company if you want to try to surf and even better in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea of Tel Aviv.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. I had a small group but Bar, our instructor did not let us down! It was incrediblely professional, he was very kind, and they have all the right facilities. For someone who's quiet tall, I was relieved to find that they had all the gear that would properly fit me. Very thankful for such a great experience. Until next time!

An amazing time, such fun and chill instructors! The other surfers in the class were also the same age and everyone was cheering each other on :) wish I could stay longer to try more classes !

I had a great experience. The surf shop is one block from the beach and very easy to find. Everyone was very friendly. The instructor was very patient and helpful during the lesson, and made for a great first surf experience. Highly recommend.

Ben of Chilli Surf was great with my two teenagers. His English is fluent and he made them very comfortable and was encouraging. Despite the not-great weather they both had a wonderful time. Surfing was an excellent addition to our visit to Tel Aviv.
