Regardless of the season, the markets are always brimming with fresh produce and local products. Shop like a true local at the farmers markets with me as your guide/interpreter.

What To Expect
We will take a tour of the marché Richelme and the marché des Prêcheurs. These marchés (farmers markets) are the best ones in Aix en Provence. 5.00So much cheese, amazing bread, truffle products and sweets to sample. Ed was a gracious tour guide and was sure to point out his favorite vendors. And the setting in the old city was so perfect!

5.00Edouard was an amazing tour guide! He speaks perfect English and French, and knows every good shop in town. My family went with him for the market tour (make sure to do the truffle tasting!), and we liked it so much that we also took the kids with him to play petanque at the park. A fantastic experience all around.

5.00I was drunk on oysters and white wine by 11am after our decadently delicious tour of the market so what's not to like?! Ted gave us the lowdown on all the dope products and we came back with pockets full of sausage goodies. Best guide in town hands down!
We traveled throughout Aix and Marseille during Rugby world cup!

5.00What an amazing experience from start to finish! I love food and knew that the farmers markets in Aix were on the top of my to-do list, but I was a little nervous about speaking in French to the vendors. Not to worry though with Ted. He knows everyone at the market personally and is extremely helpful in pointing you in the right direction when it comes to the best produce and regional products! I came back to my airbnb with my bags full and everything was even better than I could have imagined. If you want the insider track on the best food and local specialties at the farmers market, this tour is the perfect introduction.

5.00Great introduction to the farmers markets of Aix en Provence! We stopped at lots of stalls to speak to vendors, do tastings and hear about the products. I would not have been confident to do this myself. it was also interesting to hear a bit about the history of the city.

5.00This tour is a wonderful way to get a feel and taste for the city! The fish market is extraordinary, as is the abundance of fresh vegetables. We bought a wide selection of dried gourmet mushrooms to take home with us. Highly recommended foodie experience!
