The southern balloon base is located half way between the Alps and the Mediterranean at Forcalquier, in Provence. Come and discover this landscape of hilltop villages, lavender fields, wild sage and other hidden treasures which only a balloon ride can reveal. These balloon rides in Provence only take place in the morning, as in the afternoon weather conditions are not favorable.

5.00Wake up early for this activity because you won’t regret it. Floating on top of Provence felt magical — amazing views and a friendly and fun pilot made the trip amazing. As tradition after a balloon flight, we all had a drink together afterward and my fiancé was even given some flowers and a bottle of champagne by the crew as an engagement present! Highly highly recommend!

5.00A sublime family experience in the Alps of Haute Provence, organized by a team of professionals and in a very pleasant Mood, ending after a collective participation to fold the hot air balloon, with a small cream of the region very appreciated!! 1.00The whole reason we visited Forcalquier from South Carolina, USA was to celebrate our daughter's high school graduation. Due to Covid 19, our trip was postponed until her college graduation. Riding in a hot air balloon over the lavender fields was the most important thing she wanted to do in France. We came in June and prayed for blue skies. On the way into town, we saw the meeting spot less than a mile away from the center of town. As soon as we settled into our BNB, we checked messages. Instead of receiving a confirmation, we received a voicemail stating that our ride was canceled for technical reasons. Our daughter was beyond devastated. We tried to book another ride, but nothing was available for several days, at which point we would have already left town. No specific reason was given as to why the ride was canceled. We are guessing it might be due to the heatwave. However, when we drove by the meeting spot the next morning, we did see several people there that appeared to be waiting for a ride. This was a once in a lifetime trip. Instead of being the highlight of our visit, it broke the heart of a young woman who had been looking forward to this experience for 8 years.

5.00For a gift it's a great gift. A great experience to have. A very simple contact with the team. They put us in the mood right away with all people from various places and of all ages. A feeling of lightness, beauty. Thanks to JEREMY because explanations throughout the flight and a good mood to trust him completely. Being from the area, we did not know these places at all from the road. It's beautiful.
