Want a glowing and unforgettable night? This Bio-Bay Kayak Tour is what you need!
On this tour, you will cross a canal inside the nature reserve that is surrounded by various types of mangroves. This protects from strong winds and helps you to paddle easily in peaceful waters.
The best part of this tour is to enjoy the incredible glittering water of the "Big Lagoon"! Tiny bioluminescent organisms called "pyrodiniums bahamenses" are the responsible for this wonder of nature. They produce blue-green light from top to bottom of this bay every time you touch or move the water with your kayak!

Maximum weight per person is 245 pounds. For safety reasons, customers will be weighed at check-in.
Bioluminescent is a beautiful experience and with or without moon we could use a tarp.
Kayaks are double (2 people per kayak). Odd numbers groups will be paired with another person on the tour. Single kayaks cannot be guaranteed to odd numbers. Children will only be assigned with their parents or family member of the same party.
All participants must be able to row the kayak and complete the tour.
Participants under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or with any type of misconduct won't be allowed.
The Bioluminescent effect is a natural phenomenon that varies continuously and cannot be predicted nor 100% guaranteed.
Pregnant travelers cannot participate

Our experienced guides will show you the wonders of the natural reserve, including paddling between a mangrove canal and getting to the bioluminescent bay. Once at the bay the guides will detailed explain you the ecosystem and all the surroundings.

5.00The bioluminescent visibility depends on the phases of the moon so be sure to look into that. The whole entire experience was definitely something unforgettable! Williams team of tour guides were great! They were so personable and made sure you were having a good time and were safe the entire way! I'd recommend to anyone who wants an out of the ordinary adventure!

4.00It was a really fun experience, all the guides were helpful and knowledgeable. The bioluminescent wasn’t super visible, but they had us go under a tarp to be able to play with the water. Overall a fun time!

5.00The loved the kayaking trip. It's a unique experience to add to your Puerto Rico itinerary. At first I was nervous about where to meet them given that they do not have a permanent location on the beach. But, they will up in a large truck with their name on the side hauling about 20 bright green kayaks. You can't miss them! The staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00My wife and I enjoyed the kayak tour through the mangroves into the big lagoon. We had a bright moon our night so it was more difficult to see the bioluminescence. Great staff and fun evening!

5.00Sooooo cool kayaking at night through the mangroves. Getting to the bay was almost as amazing as seeing the planktons glowing. Only thing that was bad were that other members in our group were super loud and wouldn't stop talking. Kind of ruined it a little. The rules even said be quiet in the reserve but it was not enforced. Staff is very knowledgeable.

1.00I tried to cancel my tour and they would not let me because the weather looks as if it is going to storm and rain. Reservation lbs were for a night kayak experience, and it not safe and refused to give me a refund or even a partial refund. I guess my safety is not important but the money is after the waiver clearly says they are not held responsible for anything .
The staff were very gracious and very helpful to make the experience a fun and enjoyable time .
