Join us on a Private Tour of the outskirts of El Yunque in a comfortable luxury vehicle (our tour does not enter El Yunke National park protected area's). On this adventure you will be able to explore off the beaten path swimming spots and waterfalls in the areas surrounding the only tropical rainforest in the United States.
* Our adventure consists of entering a local trail for approximately 25 minutes in which you will meet some of the 240 species of native plants and trees and a number of animals such as the coqui, reptiles and endemic birds.
* Immerse yourself in the refreshing natural forest pools while you photograph its spectacular waterfalls.
* Drive up to 2000 feet while enjoying the best panoramic views offered by the eastern mountain range of Puerto Rico.
* Finally, discover the authentic flavors of the island in one of our most famous fruit and juice shops in the countryside, where you can try delicious empanadas & the nutritious frapes and natural juices of the country.

Not Recommended for those with mobility issues, trail requires the use of your hands at certain points and the ability to crouch and reach down to the floor.
In General this tour is not suited for the elderly or the very young due to the difficulty of the trail, however individuals in good physical condition regardless of age can complete the trail and reach the waterfalls.

5.00Highly recommend! My husband and I with our 2 kids (11 and 14) had the best time. So glad we did this rather than the busy rainforest tours. Harold was the best guide- super friendly and so knowledgeable. We wore our bathing suits under our clothes. Do not wear sneakers you care about as there is A LOT of mud. We packed water shoes for swimming and the waterfall. No need for bug spray which surprised me but we all good. You are dry by the time you head back to the car so we didn't end up needing a change of clothes. Amazing views and we stopped at a local road side BBQ for chicken skewers and empanadas. 10 out of 10. The terraine is a little rough so wouldn't recommend if you have bad knees.

5.00We’re in PR for spring break and wanted a day away from our resort to see more of Puerto Rico. PRGT helped us plan a trip to hike a waterfall, tour a huge cave, and end with a later lunch with local fare by the beach. The entire excursion was more than our family could have imagined. Harold is an extremely knowledgeable guide, sharing historical facts and showing us beaches and food stalls that we never would have known about or visited. Harold was especially kind with our kids (3 & 6yo) and made sure the tour stops and travel times were suitable for their needs. We highly recommend PRGT and Harold, and we will definitely book another excursion the next time we visit!

5.00This tour had it all, from the water, to the views. The meal at the beginning of the tour was delicious and amazing. The walk to the waterfall was a little rocky, but easy and manageable. Our tour guide, Harold, gave our group of 6 plenty of rest stops to catch up. Walking through the jungle was so worth it, the waterfall was refreshing and gorgeous. Mr. Harold packed us waters and fruit, to eat at the waterfall which was a fun surprise! We were also allowed to climb the water fall, and Mr. Harold took many pictures. Harold was very friendly and thoroughly explained all the areas of PR, (history, plants, etc) he brought great positive energy to the trip and we all learned something new. We all had a wonderful time and would recommend.

5.00Harold picked us up from our cruise in a very classy SUV to go on a rainforest tour my sister had booked for my birthday. I did not want to ride in a car and go hiking though. So instead he quickly organized a separate tour for me including sights of the city, an authentic Puerto Rican lunch location, and the best live history lesson I could have asked for. It was perfect. I will not stop raving about about how wonderful our day was. He even took photos of us at all our stops and sent them. I can't believe he could just switch his entire tour plans to accommodate all my requests. It was amazing and I couldn't have had a better day. Thanks again Harold!
