Hi! I am Guadeloupe, founder and designer in "Guadalupe Martiarena - Leather of Author".

I am an architect by profession, daughter of a barber and entrepreneur by vocation. Integrating my studies and experience as an architect and experimenting in my father’s saddle workshop, the idea of creating an original line of bags, wallets and accessories in genuine leather, with a marked signature. The result is an exclusive product that stands out for its morphology, color, quality and artisan production.

I stand out for my innovative creations transforming the material into unique and functional pieces with multiple use possibilities.

Throughout these years, the brand and I were getting numerous recognitions in competitions, exhibitions and publications.

I am very passionate and especially love to transmit to those who come to my space the love for leather, craft, the city and its cultural life. The experience is truly unique, I look forward to it!

What To Expect

The idea of this meeting is that you can come into contact with leather and some of the techniques and tools you work with. Tell you a little about this noble and exciting material; its origin, treatment and also about the Moroccan craft so rooted in the local culture. And that you can assemble with your own hands a personalized passport envelope with your name, initials and painted intervention, which you will take as a souvenir-amulet of your visit to Buenos Aires and Argentina! All this in the framework of a spontaneous meeting where we will taste some mates and/or wine accompanied by cakes, almonds and cheese.
