What To Expect
The Pyramids Of Giza
The tour guide will take you from your hotel to the Giza Plateau to see the three pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, as well as the Great Sphinx. You will ride a camel for 20 minutes there.
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
Then, you will visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities to see more than 120,000 items dating back to the ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman periods, including King Tutankhamun's collection.

5.00This tour was beyond words. The museum was incredible. Seeing the treasure in person are truly breath taking. Gamal, our tour guide, was VERY knowledgeable and I feel that I left this tour with so much knowledge of Egyptian history. Personally, Gamal is very friendly and made sure that we enjoyed our tour and for the best pictures. Don’t hesitate and book this tour!

5.00This tour was amazing. We LOVED our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, but also incredibly friendly and personable. I loved the flexibility that he gave us to go at our own pace, fast or slow. We became great friends with him. This tour company bent over backwards to accommodate us. Serious 5-star service. Egypt as a country was AMAZING. We loved all of it. I might just caution that unless you love tourist traps you pass on the trips to the the papyrus, rug, and alabaster shops. High pressure sales situations. Other than that everything was perfect.

5.00We had the most amazing time with Discover Egypt tour (agent: Naagla), and our great tour guides - Gamal (Cairo) and Rania (Luxor). We did a private tour for two couples. We spent 3 days in Egypt seeing the Giza Pyramids, New and Old Egyptian Museums, Saqqara, Khalil Bazaar, Coptic Christian Tour, a mosque, dinner cruise on the Nile with belly dancing show, plus carpet and perfume factories. In Luxor, we spent two days covering Valley of the Kings, private Nile sailboat at sunset, Luxor and Karnak Temples. We also did the alabaster and papyrus factories (could skip those two - definitely very touristy). We had a hot air balloon booked but due to high wind conditions, that got cancelled and we were refunded. We used Discover Egypt as a recommendation from a friend. We didn’t search them on Google or look at any other reviews; we purely trusted a friend’s recommendation and were glad we did! Naagla was so prompt at responding and incredibly informative. All of her recommendations were in line with my tour guide book. Prices were also very fair compared to when we tried to scope everything ourselves; the company overhead wasn’t unreasonable. The agency could’ve also helped us with hotels and flights but we decided to do that ourselves because we wanted a specific hotel vibe. Both Gamal and Rania were incredible Egyptologists. We would not recommend going to Egypt and visiting the historic ancient sites without a guide - you would not learn nearly as much and breeze through everything! Instead I felt like I was on an amazing week long seminar on ancient antiquities and Egyptian civilization. My mind was blown afterward! Every site we went to, tickets and transportation was arranged for us. It was great to have a private car the entire time - ordering Ubers and driving would’ve been time consuming to navigate and research. We loved being able to tell the guide where we wanted to go and they would help us make that happen. We also did a side trip to Hurghada and Naagla helped arrange a driver for the 4 hours from Luxor to Hurghada. When there, she also helped us book a Turkish bath (definitely an interesting experience) and a snorkel tour (although we found a private tour cheaper on our own so we didn’t go with her recommendation). The agency’s responsiveness, customer service and professionalism are unparalleled. We will definitely recommend them to everyone we know who goes to Egypt! Plus, you can’t get any other guide besides Gamal and Rania! PS - did we mention Gamal is an amazing photographer?!! He showed us the best tricks on the Apple phone! I had three people ask if we had a professional photographer follow us our entire trip. Additionally, when we go to Morocco, Petra or Jerusalem, we will ask Naagla for tour recommendations! I trust everything she says!

5.00We had a knowledgeable, helpful, and fun tour guide Gamal. He helped my group of four friends get around Cairo and showed us many neat sites. He helped us negotiate with many craft sellers. Gamal was extremely knowledgeable about ancient and modern Egypt and all the archaeological aspects. I wouldn’t have had a great time in Cairo if it wasn’t for Discover Egypt Tours!

During my four days in Cairo, The “Discovery Egypt Tour” provided me a safe and comfortable services. The agent Ms Naglaa Mohammed was very friendly and nice. She answered all my questions and inquiries and followed up with me every day. The two tour guides, Mr. Mahmoud Fawzy and Mr. Ahmed were the best! They were super friendly, caring, and patient; speak very well English; have tons of knowledge of Egyptian history. They listened to my thoughts, and gave me good suggestions. Especially Mr Fawzy, he communicated with me every morning and then arranged the tour accordingly. Thank you very much, Naglaa, Mahmoud, and Ahmed!! You gave me unforgettable travel experience!!
