  Marwa Tours was the backbone of our Egypt holiday. She has a wealth of knowledge added so much depth to our experience. We sent her a few dot points of what we wanted to see and do and that is exactly what we got and more. We were even able to customise and change as we were there. We felt so safe with her and it made a country that can cause stress very easy. The driver she hired methods car in immaculate condition and we were able to store luggage in it on our last day. The hotel she recommended was in an area we could explore by ourselves at night with lots of dinner options.   The trip was amazing to Giza and Saqqara. The guide ( Marwa) was at top level, passionate and devoted to everyone, sharing not only historical and archeological info but also insight for the ancient and modern life of the Egyptians. The lunch was also delightful and we recommend this trip and the team to everyone.

  Marwa is the greatest Guide I have ever met anywhere in the world. She exceeds all expectations. I asked for pure History, no shopping, no carpets, just History. She delivered all I wanted. I asked for local restaurants and were eating there with locals only, no tourists. Did Luxor, Giza, Sakkara, Memphis, Old Cairo and Alexandria with her. All was outstanding.   Marwa is an amazing tour guide. Her historical and cultural knowledge is profound! She answered all our questions, gave us the context we needed to understand the sites. The tour was with me, my husband and our 2 highschool kids (and yes they loved the tour with her too and we’re never bored !) She catered to our needs, made great suggestions of what to see and what not to see, knew where to stop for lunch for excellent local cuisine, and is super fast to respond to your messages. She’s fun, competent and caring. She is a wonderful Egyptian Star! Hire her!

  We had a great time touring the pyramids with Marwa. Marwa is professional and passionate about Egyptolog - we learnt a lot and glad to have her as our tour guide. We felt safe with her around visiting the very touristy places, making our time there very pleasant. Marwa and the driver were very nice, they even helped us with last minute transportation request. We would love to tour with Marwa again if we return to Egypt! Highly recommend!

  Marwa is the best. She was our welcome to Egypt and our arrival was flawless. We had such a lovely and informative time with her, she knows exactly where to take you for the special side trips. We were definitely in great hands from start to finish!

  Outstanding. Marwa is absolutely fantastic. She organizes everything, knows all of the tricks to making your Egypt experience phenomenal. We started with her in Cairo and spent over a week together, going as far south as Abu Simbel. She has a tremendous ability to take any topic and have an in-depth conversation about it. She picked the best restaurants and the best hotels and the best drivers, and we just had an outstanding time. I would do it all over again. It was wonderful to get to know her during our time together. She is a leader and really knows how to make your experience top-notch. I gave her the type of hotels that we liked, and she booked our hotels for us and booked our flights, it was very minimal effort required on my part to make an amazing unforgettable trip happen. We also did a Nile river cruise and she selected a fantastic ship for that, which was a three night sailing from Aswan to Luxor. While we were in Luxor, she organized a hot air balloon ride for us that took us over the valley of the kings, and I highly recommend the balloon ride. Not only did we feel safe the entire time, we had an unforgettable experience that my kids and my wife and I will treasure for a lifetime.   Amazing private tour for 5 days in Cairo. Can't recommend Marwa highly enough. She guided my son and me round some popular and lesser known sights with great knowledge and pitched it just right for a 15 year old to keep him engaged. Whether you are a female travelling alone or a family, Marwa will ensure you have the trip of a lifetime.

  I came to Egypt looking for a personalized tour - and one owned by an independent female business operator. I was so lucky to find Marwa Hafez - the Egyptian Museum’s first female Egyptologist. My time with Marwa began at the airport where she arranged my transport and was there to meet me in person (which gave me so much comfort upon arriving into Egypt as a solo female traveler.) She got me settled into my hotel and my adventure began at the pyramids of Giza the next day. It was incredible! She took me to all the sites, explained everything in detail (but kept it interesting) and took as many photos of me as I wanted (even more!) I highly recommend Marwa Hafez and her customized tours. She takes care to ensure that all of your transport is taken care of (and is performed by trusted drivers), that you see and do all that you like, and that you enjoy your stay in Egypt in comfort and safety. Having an Egyptologist there to explain things as only an Egyptologist can is one of the highlights of course. I overheard other tour guides while seeing the pyramids and knew I was getting the good stuff (the legitimate information!) Another highlight is that she knows almost everyone in Cairo and beyond - drivers, guards at checkpoints and at museums- and all welcome her with a huge smile and conversation. You know that you’re working with someone you can trust - and that you’ll have a smoother experience than if you were to travel alone or with a large tour.
