This was one of our favorite walking tours. We’ve done a lot of them. Our tour guide (Yves) was great—knowledgeable, friendly, engaging. You can’t beat a local who knows and loves his town!

It’s a rare and wonderful thing to have a tour guide who can communicate the history of a place with such passion that nobody even notices the steep hills or freezing temps. Christian was that rare guide - our family is deeply grateful for the experience and the balanced perspective through which he shared the history of this beautiful city. Perhaps the most telling moment was towards the end of the tour when Christian asked our group to guess whether he was for or against the sovereignty movement based on the information he shared throughout the tour. Our tour group was tied - half thought he was for, and half against. Christian was happy to see our group split like this as he aims to tell a balanced history that represents all perspectives. (He also never told us which side he was on, which I also appreciated.) Christian is a gem of a guide - perhaps one of the best we’ve ever had - and our family will remember his stories for a long time to come.

My wife and I enjoyed our City Tour with Louise, even though the temperature was -18c feeling like -25. Louise was incredibly knowledgeable on the history of Quebec and Quebec City - almost too much. She explained things well and associated each talking point to view spot. The only thing that we were a little disappointed by was how little territory we covered within the QC walls. This was exacerbated by the cold which would have been more manageable if we'd moved more. That said, if you are into history and how it connect QC to the rest of world, this is the tour for you.

This 2 hour walking tour was a great introduction to the history of this pretty city. Our guide Christian was knowledgeable of Quebec’s history and passionate about Sharing this with visitors. A great afternoon in less than ideal weather conditions, all taken into consideration on the tour. We would highly recommend this tour…..and sampling the local drink caribou (another tip from our guide)
