New Zealand's only kids' quad biking experience - and the whole family gets their own machine. Kids aged 6-13 ride 50cc or 90cc quad bikes on purpose-built tracks just five minutes from central Queenstown, while parents, guardians, and older teens (14+) ride alongside on a 250cc quad. No licence or off-road experience needed for any rider.
The 45-minute session runs on a large purpose-built riding ground with varied terrain. Your guide stays with the group throughout, adjusting the pace and terrain to suit the youngest riders - so every child gets the right balance of challenge and fun. It is all guided quad biking from start to finish.
All safety equipment is included - helmets, goggles, and gloves - along with full wet weather gear if conditions call for it. Return transfers from central Queenstown, a professional guide, and complimentary photos are all part of the package. Sessions run year-round, rain or shine.

5.00Just came back from an absolutely amazingly good time with Matt at Off Road. Mum, 49 (totally out of shape!) Dad, 54 (pretty fit) and two teenage daughters beaming from ear to ear! We started with the intro where Matt put us through our paces and taught us what we needed to know and then we extended to the hour long up the mountain experience! Matt was a great teacher and very funny. It was stress free learning for me being a complete novice and just so much fun. It may seem pricey to start with but you are riding top notch bikes with a very professional and experienced guide/teacher and was worth every cent. We were a family ranging from complete novices to experienced riders and we all had a blast riding together! Can’t recommend this experience enough! Give it a go NZ!!

5.00I came last year to do the buggy with my Dad and this year was for the quad bikes with my friend! The adventure starts in the van with good chats! Matt was awesome to make us relax before THE adventure! Ryan and Brendon were perfect during the training time and we could see they knew exactly what they were doing! The rest of the tour was excellent fun and above all expectations! Thanks, Matt, Brendon, Ryan and Scott for this experience and lifetime memories! We will come back!
