This impressive lagoon was formed in the crater of an inactive volcano and is one of the most beautiful and visited places in the country. On the tour, you will be able to observe the bottom of the lagoon from the viewpoint. We descend to the lagoon, where you can rent a kayak for a tour around the lagoon (not included in the tour). After the ascent we have lunch and return to Quito

Perfect experience. Everything was very well organized during the d’au. It was a wonderful trip to Quilotoa with Anthony and Alex. This place is amazing. We also had the chance to visit a local market and an indigenous house. That was very interesting and very well explained by Anthony.

I had a really great experience on the Quilotoa Lagoon trip. The views were absolutely beautiful, the food was very good, and the whole day was very well organized. Our guide, Antony, explained everything clearly and made the experience really enjoyable and easy to follow. The admission fee was fine and it wasn’t crowded much. On the way back there was unfortunately a reroute, so the drive took much longer than expected, but Antony and our driver Alex handled the situation very professionally. They kept everyone informed, stayed calm, and made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time despite the delay. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ecuador!

Everything was on time. Joel, our guide, and Alex, our driver, were incredibly professional. Joel gave us insightful information of Quito and its surrounding area. The hike was incredible. The admission fee was incredibly cheap. The tour crowd size was small so it was easy for us to get to know each other, making the whole trip very enjoyable. Joel was a real pro.

Quilotoa Loop is beautiful! It is steep and sandy, physically challenge. The cultural stops are interesting, leaning about aboriginal people’s daily living.

I really enjoyed the experience at Quilotoa Lagoon! My friend and I went to Ecuador for our Spring break and would definitely recommend this experience. I will say the the hike is pretty difficult, and I was only 1 of 3 group members who made it down and back up by walking. Everyone else either turned around or had to get a horse. The horses also seemed very tired and did not seem to want to continue taking people down and up. I would do this if you have good stamina as the altitude and incline make the trek difficult! The views are just as good at the top as they are at the bottom to be honest. Our guide Anthony was great and very knowledgeable! It was great how he was able to switch between Spanish and English after every sentence.

I had a great time, our guide David was very organized, knowledgeable and fun. We got interesting insights in the culture of the indigenous andean communities and got to see the amazing Quilotoa crater. Would recommend!

We took this one day tour the next day we came back from the Galapagos. We had a firm filled and fulfilling day. The itinerary is exceptional with visits to the indigenous people’s market and their traditional habitat. The lagoon is breathtaking. Our guide, Anthony was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when we were walking down a very slippery slope down to the lagoon. Highly recommended touring operator.
