I did this tour as part of my Ecuador Hop package and can definitely recommend it. A special thank you to our guide Jessica, who actually guided me on this tour and the Cotopaxi National Park tour. She was outstanding the entire time - always cheerful, full of energy, and constantly switching between English and Spanish to answer everyone’s questions. Despite the many questions from our group, she stayed patient, informative, and made the long day very enjoyable. Also thanks to the drivers Andrés and Francisco (day 1 and day 2), who drove safely and professionally the whole time and got us everywhere comfortably. Overall, a great experience and one of the highlights of my time in Ecuador. The itinerary is quite packed and the distances are long, so be prepared to spend a fair amount of time in the car - but that also means you get to see a lot in a short amount of time. Personally, I enjoyed Quilotoa even more than Cotopaxi and would probably recommend this tour first, although that may just come down to personal preference.

Amazing day trip. Our tour guide Liz was great. Visited some small town and saw some indigenous homes. Quilotoa was pretty, love the small town vibe.

Great day trip from Quito. Small hike to the crater rim with optional challenging hike down to the lake. Guide very friendly and helpful. Location for food was decent

If you are going to force us go to a specific restaurant to eat with the group that does not accept credit cards, then you must tell us to bring cash. If you going to ask us to give coins to the indigenous people then you must tell us to bring coins and not big dollars. I prefer not to carry much cash. Not being able to eat with the tour group made the trip less than excellent. Please tell future clients. Thank you

It was a fantastic experience. I've never seen anything like that. It was lovely. It's worth going down to the lagoon. To climb can be on foot or by horse

Quilotoa was as beautiful as the pictures. The hike was difficult but doable. Spending time with locals in the Andes was memorable, specifically holding their guinea pics and seeing Julian’s potato’s. We especially loved Irene! She was knowledgeable, funny, and created an engaging environment

Excellent tour, super recommended. Irene was our guide and is a very responsible and dedicated person. She was always attentive to the needs of the group and shared excellently all her knowledge in English and Spanish. Very happy with the agency and with the guide, the place is simply spectacular, there are no words to describe it. Super recommended

Easy going, fun, friendly tour guide and people along the way. The short visit to the locals in the hill was great along the way. The lake itself is beautiful with great weather. The water was blue and scenic. Was able to even rent a kayak into the water as well as ride the donkey back up if you’re not feeling the hike back up. Irene the tour guide was informative and helpful throughout the journey. She is enthusiastic and patient the whole way. She has good tips and advice along the trip including food places and reasonable prices. Andres the driver was professional and very good on the road. Was able to nap most of the way there and back.
