A 100% refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. A refund processing fee of 6% applies. The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, duties, foreign transaction, currency exchange or other fees. Your bank or credit or debit card company may convert the payment into the local currency and charge fees, resulting in differences between the amount displayed on Viator.com and Viator-affiliated websites, and the final amount charged to your bank account or credit or debit card statement.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start date of the experience will receive no refund.
Keep in mind that Quito is 2867 metres above sea level. We recommend that you give yourself at least one day to acclimatise. Have a good night's sleep and eat lightly on the day of your tour. These all help combat altitude sickness.
It is imperative that you have current travel insurance including personal medical insurance. If you do not, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Quito Bike Tours be held responsible for any injuries incurred.

Quito Bike Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary without previous notifications due to unforeseen circumstances or weather. A refund or reschedule will be organised. An administrative fee will be applied to all refunds.

The Best Guide Ever--for 3 BIG Days

5.00Catalina was an amazing guide for 3 full days for us, and helping us arrange adhoc transportation on short notice. Day 1 she took us from downtown to some hot springs about a 90 min drive out of town for the day, arranging restaurant meals along the way. Next day she picked us up for a full day tour of Cotopaxi Volcano--the van was big for the 8 adults we had, comfortable, lots of room, and she is a treasure trove of information. She will tell you about EVERYTHING you need to know about Ecuador history culture economics politics. She walked us around Centro Historico on Day 3 and took us for a big bicycle ride around town. It started to pour rain--hard--so we ducked into the nearest restaurant where she knew the owner! We had a great lunch, some local hooch and went on our way after the rain stopped. She was very accommodating when diff members of our group wanted to do different things. Patient, kind, hardworker. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

5.00Absolutely unforgettable experience with Quito Bike Tours! This tour was hands down one of the highlights of my time in Ecuador. We biked through the vibrant streets of Quito, learning about the city’s deep history and culture, and even got to stop along the way to enjoy delicious Ecuadorian food — a perfect way to experience the country through both sights and flavors. The adventure didn’t stop there — we also went out to Cotopaxi and hiked up to an incredible 15,900 feet! Catalina, the owner, is amazing. She’s deeply passionate about Ecuador and is on a mission to bring Ecuadorians back home and show them just how beautiful their country is. She’s working to change the way tourism is done, making it more authentic, impactful, and connected to the culture. Our guides Jonathan were fantastic — full of energy, knowledge, and fun. I couldn’t recommend Quito Bike Tours enough. If you’re visiting Ecuador, don’t miss this experience!

5.00Catalina runs an amazing business which displays the best parts of Quito to locals and travelers. Johnathan, Dany and Santiago were the most welcoming guides. They shared their love for the country and made us excited for the following events they had planned. I would highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience with Quito Bike Tours!

5.00This was the highlight of my trip in Ecuador. Jhonatan and Daniel were excellent guides. I never felt unsafe biking throughout the city even in shared lanes with cars. The bike was in excellent condition and I recommend the e-bike to anyone to help deal with the altitude and many hills throughout the city. The chocolate tasting and market tour including tasting of fresh fruit juice were a bonus. I would definitely do another tour with Jhonatan and Daniel the next time I'm in Quito.
Had a great time. You won't be disappointed.

5.00It was not a bike tour. It was a private walking/driving tour I took with my wife. I can't say enough good things about jhonatan quitilanda. He picked out some great places and was very knowledgeable. He was easy to understand and had great passion. If I could give him ten stars, I would.

5.00We had Jhonatan as our tour guide and he was excellent . He was very informative about everything but at the same time kept the entire trip fun and interactive. We are a gay couple and felt very welcomes the entire time. The first day we did mindo cloud forest where we met him the first time and from the start he was super friendly. The tour itself is highly recommended . Everything was so green and the waterfalls were beautiful. We also did the most informative chocolate tour we have ever taken. It’s the first time I ever did a chocolate tea and it was amazing On the second day we did cotapaxi. It was so beautiful but I would say a bit of a harder tour. The weather was against us a bit on this one but it was one heck of an experience. I highly recommend this company if you are in Quito. The fact that the owner took time out of her day to come meet us means a lot (Catalina). Whether you are gay, straight, or whatever, they were awesome.

5.00Jonathon was a great guide -punctual, polite and personable. He grew up in the Amazon and had a ton of knowledge regarding the local flora and fauna throughout Ecuador, as well as some fun anecdotes. He was also an excellent problem solver - at one point we lost our tickets to the various attractions we had booked, and he contacted the company and had them send a photo of our receipts so we didn’t have to pay twice or miss out on anything. We never felt rushed or like he was trying to sell us on anything either, and he took some great photos . We had a an epic time!
