What To Expect
Plaza de San Francisco
Discover more about the impressive largest architectural complex in the historic center of Quito. From the square we can see the towers, the church and the chapel of San Francisco.
Iglesia Santa Clara
Along Cuenca Street we will appreciate the republican and neocolonial architecture of Quito until we reach the Plaza de Santa Clara. From this point we will enjoy the views of the façade of this monastery and its domes.

5.00Irene was a terrific guide being both enthusiastic and knowledgable of the culture and history. My husband I walked through Old Town Quito and took a cultural cooking class. Both were fun and educational. It was well worth the cost and Irene was an added perk.

5.00This is one of the most complete tours I have ever taken. I learned a lot about Quito, its customs and beliefs, as well as words in Quichua. I was able to take great pictures (the staff helped a lot with that). Miss John. Irene is an exceptional Guide and has a gift for serving people and making everyone enjoy and have an experience worth repeating. We also feel safe at all times, which is very important when traveling to a country you don’t know, for the first time. I recommend 100% service, on any of your Tours, because they are excellent professionals and there is no waste.

5.00We only had one day in Quito so we opted to do a private tour and got Irene as our guide! We had an amazing time and Irene did a great job showing us all the best attractions in Quito. I would highly recommend a private tour with this company and I'm sure their group tours are great as well!

5.00Josue was an excellent, informative and enthusiatic guide who put together a great half day walking tour which we arranged through the Swisdotel and included transport to and from the old city. We visited the Basillica, walked the main sights,had an excellent chocolate tasting, visited a market and had a very pleasant local lunch.

5.00Our family would highly recommend this Quito walking tour and you even get to eat what you prep for lunch. Irene was the perfect tour guide -full of energy and knowledge and very proud of her city and country which made the tour very special. She showed us the town square and 3 magnificent churches and the Basilica. Josue (who picked our ingredients with us at the local market) and Karen at Claroscurro were great chefs and helped us make a wonderful lunch of potato soup, swordfish and desert. Everyone participated including our 8 and 12 year old grandkids. The menu at Claroscurro looked fabulous as well so try it on you own for luch or dinner. All in all a wonderful tour!

5.00This was an excellent tour. I arrived in Quito early that morning and the tour provider was able to adjust the start time to better accommodate my need for a little nap. Though this was a shared tour, I was very lucky that this turned out to be a private tour because no one else had booked. Pam was an outstanding tour guide. Very very friendly and super-knowledgeable. I had a fantastic time. We saw everything listed on the tour. Also, the cooking class was SO MUCH fun. It was a lot of food and I didn't leave hungry. I highly recommend this tour!
