A small village upstream from Fowey and the riverbank was the inspiration for Kenneth Graham, most famous for “The Wind in the Willows” to write “Tales of the Riverbank”.
Fowey is a small town with even smaller streets! A popular place for visiting yachts, it’s also a port for the China clay industry. Experience travelling on the Bodinnick vehicle ferry to the Polruan side of The Fowey river.

5.00Even though it was raining lots we still had a really good tour. Doug was an excellent host and we felt safe driving around all the little roads with him

5.00We’ve just returned to the US from a wonderful 6-day tour of Cornwall with Doug Evans of Meneage Tours. Doug was in communication with us for almost two months prior to our trip to the UK, providing us with travel times and arranging a custom tour according to the varied and many! wants on our wish list.
