Discover Rabat, Morocco’s capital and one of its four imperial cities, on a day trip from Casablanca As you arrive, you'll find yourself stepping back to the 12th century with a visit to the iconic Hassan Tower. This towering structure, part of an ambitious mosque project left unfinished by Sultan Yacoub al-Mansour, stands as a testament to the city’s medieval heritage and aspirations. Nearby, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V offers a glimpse into Morocco’s more recent history, its immaculate white silhouette honoring the legacy of the nation’s revered kings and their role in achieving independence.
Wander through the Kasbah of the Udayas, a fortress that once guarded the city against invasions and now serves as a peaceful neighborhood with Andalusian-style gardens. Wander through the Medina, where ancient Berber roots meet French colonial touches in a vibrant marketplace. Good comprehensive day trip. I visited Rabat about 12 years ago myself. I didn't see so so much as yesterday. It was worth doing it with a guide.

Rabat was fantastically beautiful. The city exudes peace, tranquility and grandeur. We were in a small group of 6 people. The guide and driver Naciri have taken incredibly good care of us. We recommend this experience to everyone.

My driver was 20 minutes late and the pick up time was very unclear. Driving was also really bad but that's almost typical here. They take you only to four places and don't give you really any information. Three of the places are free to the public and one you have to pay when you get there. For only being an hour away from Casablanca, they also rush you through the four locations, you stay no longer than 40 minutes at each one. My driver and guide also started screaming at each other in front of the Royal Palace for a good 10 minutes. This was almost the nail on the coffin for me because of everything. It really ruined the experience when that started happening. Rabat is a beautiful city and I recommend going there but take a train or use a different way to get here, don't get this.

I had an incredible afternoon with Salah, traveling from Casablanca to Rabat. He was full of enthusiasm and passion for the history of Morocco. As a Travel Advisor, I am thrilled to share this tour with my clients when they book a trip to Morocco! Maybe even for the World Cup in 2030

I had a lovely time today, should have been myself and my husband, but, he is not well so just me and my lovely guide Said. He made me feel very welcome and comfortable travelling on my own. We travelled from Casablanca to Rabat and he gave me very interesting information on the way. Stopped at the archaeological site of Chellah and I gad a good walk around with the company of a little cat all the way. Even up the many stairs. Then onto the mausoleum of Mohammed V. Beautiful. Next he took me to Oudayas watch tower overlooking the river and across to Sale. Have had a wonderful day, Thankyou very much Said
