Went with Choongo, Sticky, Aaron, and Davis down the river. It was awesome. I’d go again just for the views of the gorge. The actual trip was very professional and I felt very safe and secure. The guides were friendly and looked after our every need. It was a thrilling and memorable experience that I highly recommend.

Many thanks to Emmanuel, Davis, and Julius for a memorable adventure on the Zambezi. All of our guides were warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. They took excellent care of us and made sure we had a safe but exciting ride. We highly recommend this trip to fully experience all of the beauty of this wonderful place. We also recommend you wear proper hiking shoes for the hike in and out of the gorge and plenty of sunscreen.

One of the most exhilarating things I’ve done. The guides were incredible, ours was Boyd and he was hilarious. I’d trust them with my life. We were doing front flips and back flips off the raft and going solo down the rapids. Scary but incredible! 1000000% worth it :) as is every excursion I’ve been on in Livingston. Such an amazing town and scenery with awesome people. Loving Zambia!

Rafting in the Zambezi with Safpar was an amazing experience. The crew was very professional, extremely competent and very safety conscious. There guides and crew were really pleasant and made the whole trip an extra ordinary experience. The Zambezi Gorge is breathtaking and to raft down there with these guys was all the more special. I would highly recommend anyone to gown down the Zambezi with this company. You will certainly have a superb time!!

rafting on the Zambezi is something I recommend at least once in a lifetime, and doing it with this company makes it even more special. Impeccable organization from the beginning, clear and professional briefing, equipment of the highest level and – above all – exceptional guides: competent, friendly and always attentive to safety, without ever detracting from the adrenaline and fun. The rapids are spectacular, powerful and technical, immersed in breathtaking natural scenery. Moments of pure adrenaline rush alternate with relaxing breaks to enjoy one of the most iconic rivers in the world. Great atmosphere even out of the water, with a team that knows how to create team spirit and make you feel immediately at ease. An intense, authentic and perfectly managed experience. If you are in Zambia (or Zimbabwe) and love adventure, this is an activity you absolutely must not miss.

We had an incredible time with the Safpar team. Emanuel was a component leader with an amazing crew, Aaron and the self proclaimed first time rafter all lead the raft expertly but with an element of fun. Additionally, Davis did an incredible job of making sure we didn't swim for too long, Sticky captured some lovely photos. We were impressed by the support from the start to the end, with guidance across the border and delicious food. We also added on the sunset cruise, where we were well looked after. The day was an absolute highlight of our time in Zambia, and we are extremely tempted to come back in October.

Such an incredible experience! The guides and workers are phenomenal and such sweet people. They were patient with us as we hiked into and out of the gorge (it’s a long hike). On the raft, they were instructive and fun to be around. Would highly recommend to anyone that likes being on the water!

We had the most amazing family experience on a half-day raft down the Zambezi. Our entertaining and energetic river guide Boyd competently took the five of us down the many rapids that day. He was ably supported by safety crew member Babyface and photographer Davies, and the whole Safpar team, as we spent several hours having some thrills and lots of fun in the stunning Zambiezi gorge. Even just being able to spend this much time on (and in) the river surrounded by the gorgeous scenery was something very special for us. The way down into the gorge to the departure point was something of a scramble at times, and the hike out at the other end was a bit testing. As a reasonably fit and capable family however we found both to be an enjoyable part of the overall experience. The general organisation and attention to detail was excellent and we highly recommend this company to anyone looking for this sort of experience on the Zambezi.

This was a ton of fun and an amazing experience! The staff were very friendly, professional, and knowledgable. It should be noted that there is a significant hike over mountainous terrain to get to and from the river to start the rafting, just FYSA if you’re not interested in a lot of walking.

Rafting on the Zambezi from Victoria Falls was an incredible and memorable experience with stunning scenery and plenty of adrenaline. We would, however, like to flag the behavior of our guide, Captain Boyd. His instructions were at times unclear, and his manner included raised voices (to the point where he was screaming) that made the group uncomfortable. He also repeatedly referenced wanting to receive a large tip to spend on alcohol. He appeared to calm somewhat after Rapid 7, possibly following a recent fatal incident on the river, but the overall experience felt uncomfortable at times. While he did keep us safe, we would recommend additional training in customer-facing communication and support for the guides.
