We had an awesome time rafting with our captain Jason “the water sloth.” It was seriously the adrenaline packed adventure we all were looking for (most of us lol). The nice lunch at the end was delicious and overall a great experience. I will always come back to La Fortuna for this reason. They were very nice to accommodate us when our photo link expired before we had a chance to download it so I really appreciate that!

The trip was awesome’. The guides Bryan and Alberto were great. They were very social, informative and helpful which made the trip that much better. I would recommend this for anyone looking for some fun and adventure.

Excellent rafting company. Brian and his team are top notch, great guides and go out of their way to make it a great experience. We had a car and didn’t want to spend d the time being picked up by the shuttle. We messaged the team on WhatsApp and Brian the owner got back to us right away. He canceled his own day off to meet us near the launch spot, park our car in a safe spot and take us down to the boats. I did the class three four rapids with my ten year old and it was the best part of our trip by far. She’s an excellent swimmer and confident in the water (I wouldn’t recommend for a kid who is timid or not water confident) I’ve been rafting around the world, highly recommend doing it if you’re the fortuna area, totally worth it

So much fun. The guys showed us sloths, iguanas, monkeys and loads of birds. That was before the adventure had even begun. We all thoroughly enjoyed it even though some got more wet than they had planned to. Definitely one to recommend with older kids.

Went with my wife and kids. We were picked up at our hotel by Brian and Rocky. Had a fun time conversing with them on the way to the river. Once we arrived at the river, Rocky explained all of the safety rules and also taught us the commands. My kids and wife had an Amazing time rafting on the river. We will be back! Kudos to both Brian and Rocky for making our rafting/trip so enjoyable!!

We had an amazing time! In general, we (husband, 10yo son, 14yo daughter, and I) had so many great experiences in CR. This was my husband's favorite. We spent the morning hiking and canyoning with a different outfitter. La Fortuna Rafting picked us up where we ended our morning. It was seamless. We didn't have to travel anywhere to meet them. I know they provide hotel pick up too. That day Bryan was our driver, Andres was our safety coordinator, and "Peluche" (teddy bear) was our rafting guide. Before we got in the water, Andres gave us the same safety speech we get everytime we go white water rafting in the US, which was reassuring. When we hit the water, it was nonstop fun! We had a blast paddling through some thrilling rapids. If there was ever a lull in rapids, Peluche would show us the wildlife - iguanas, exotic birds, etc. He even pulled the raft over when one of us couldn't see the sloth he was pointing out. He told us so many interesting things about the places we passed and CR in general. It really felt like a personalized trip. Andres was traveling with us in a smaller raft, taking pictures and ensuring our safety. We stopped for a short break. While we swam in the river or rested on the riverbank, Peluche prepared a beautiful and delicious fresh fruit snack for us. It was perfect. When the rafting trip was over, Bryan drove all of us to Monkey Park for a delicious CR meal. Unfortunately, we didn't see any monkeys, but we saw plenty later during our vacation. During lunch, the seven of us enjoyed our food and talked together. They are personable and professional. They have so much knowledge they're happy to share, everything from the history of CR to shopping and dining recommendations. While we were rafting, Peluche gave us instructions and complimented us on how well we were paddling. I thought we were paddling so well that we were making his job easy. When I saw the pictures, I saw how wrong I was! I saw how hard he was working to steer us and keep us safe and happy! LOL! At the end of our trip, they sent us a link to all the pictures Andres took. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! We highly recommend rafting with them if you want a safe, personalized, exciting adventure!
