I'll take you OFF-THE-BEATEN-TRACK to visit THREE live music sessions in THREE REAL DUBLIN MUSIC PUBS... where you'll enjoy THREE drinks with NEW FRIENDS. You'll learn the HISTORY of our music - giving you A REAL CONNECTION to Irish music. We'll share a GREAT NIGHT filled with FUN, MUSIC and SONGS. You'll MAKE NEW FRIENDS and along the way you'll learn about and hear DIFFERENT STYLES of Irish music, the INSTRUMENTS played... and you'll even learn the difference between a JIG and a REEL! You will be doing lots of walking across the city between pubs so please wear suitable shoes and clothing.
What‘s Included
The pub crawl is more about MUSIC than drinking... BUT... there are drinks included too. Each guest is provided with THREE DRINKS - one small Guinness in each bar we visit.

5.00It’s a unique experience where you visit a few local pubs that caters to the Traditional Music of Ireland. The pubs were historical in their own ways and had different styles of traditional Ireland Music. It’s good for the music lovers and visitors wanting to listen to the cultural history of Ireland. I would recommend Neil was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

5.00I went on this tour at my girlfriend’s recommendation—she had done it twice—and it exceeded my expectations. It was a fun, memorable and genuinely insightful evening. Neil is a knowledgeable and personable guide who brings trad Irish music to life. I came away with a much deeper appreciation for the music and its history. The format is excellent. We visited three pubs, each with a distinct character—starting in a lively, high-energy setting and ending in a more intimate, atmospheric one. That progression made the night feel thoughtfully curated rather than just a pub crawl. An added bonus was the group itself. It was a pleasure meeting interesting people from all over the world, which added to the experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who appreciates traditional Irish music—or is simply curious to learn more. It’s an engaging, well-run and thoroughly enjoyable evening.

5.00Sean was such a tremendous tour guide! It was an extremely busy night at the pubs the night before St. Patrick’s Day, and he did everything possible to give us a wonderful experience, including memorizing our drink orders! It was very fun to watch Trad music in neighborhood, authentic pubs!

5.00Sean and the "Trad Music Pub Crawl" was amazing! It was a highlight of my Dublin visit. He gave us the background of traditional Iris music. He then took us to 3 pubs with live trad or derived-from-trad music, and advised us on how to worm our way up to where we could hear the music and see the musicians. The musicians are so talented and their music so enjoyable! Sean sat in with the musicians and played/sang at 2 of the venues, which was quite fun.
