For this Trip you need to be physically fitness and mentally well prepare. Some days you need to walk 8 to 9 hours, which is more than average walking in a day. It could do just Camping organize trip last three years ago but there is basic Teahouse entire trip now a days.
Mostly, you will stay in Lodge and have food same place (Dhal Bhat=main Nepali food, Fried rice, Bread, Boiled and fried eggs, Potato, Noodles, porridge, tea coffee tec.) But if you have added some days you may visit the Tsum Valley area also, this is a homestay trip (where you can have the food there at someone's house and provide accommodation). If you have time, I would like to recommend you Tsum Valley too; which is itself a restricted area and open since 2007. This trip is a combination of culture and religion, which is a unique trip among numbers trekking trails of Nepal.

STUNNING experience!, the views and energy of the mountains were spectacular. Our guide (Karma) and porter (Sangam) made our trip perfect, very professional, with a lot of experienced in high altitude and this type if trekking and super friendly. Definitely we will come back!

I have been planning to do the Manaslu circuit for months and got the Nepal Mother House recommended by a friend from Berlin. I asked Karna if it was possible to have a female guide since i was a female solo traveler and would feel more comfortable with a woman. He luckily got me in touch with Guide Ashmita who i then did the whole trail with. The transportation, tea houses, airport pickup and the first night in Kathmandu was all arranged by Karna and Ashmita and i had an amazing time. I was also a bit worried about the food since i am vegan, but i got very well fed with delicious vegan curries, Dal Bhat and very apple porridge along the way. I am more then happy, that i did the trip especially since i even i case of landslides or bad weather conditions, i felt always well guided and very cared!

This is the 3rd time we engaged the service of Nepal Mother House for our treks in the Himalayans. In 2019, we went to EBC; then in 2023 to ABC, and recently to the Manaslu circuit trek. The Manaslu region is not as commercialised as the EBC and ABC route, yet our tour operator and guide went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible each day. During the first few days of the hike, I wasn’t feeling my best, but our guide Jayram Magar, showed genuine care, walking beside me, reminding me to eat, rest and stay hydrated. His calm presence and experience really made a difference. Each evening he gave us a detailed briefing about the next day’s trail and what to expect, which helped us prepare both mentally and physically Crossing the Larke La Pass was definitely the highlight — tough but incredibly rewarding. We couldn’t have done it without the guidance and support of our amazing team. The porters were wonderful too — always cheerful, attentive, and making sure we were safe every step of the way. Thank you to Karna, Jayram and the porters for making this journey safe, smooth, and truly unforgettable

We just completed our third trek in Nepal with Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition to the Manaslu region. It was a pleasure to make the arrangements with Mr. Karna as he knew what our expectations were. He is very attentive and made all the ground arrangements from airport pickup, hotel accommodations at Kathmandu, trekking permits to the Manaslu and Annapurna Conservation Areas, transport from Kathmandu to Jagat and back from Tilje and finally sending us back to the airport. We were fortunate to have Jayram as our guide again. We had trekked with him to EBC and ABC earlier and so it was great to meet and catch up with him. He is a very caring and helpful guide to trek with and quite chatty when you get to know him. He made sure our accommodations were comfortable during our trek and kept a watchful eye over us. He pointed out the various landmarks as we trekked and also certain plants which were endemic to the area. He briefed us every evening to our route for the following day, duration of trekking and general conditions to expect. We had Deepak, Ganesh and Kishore as our porters and they lighten our load and made the trek enjoyable. They went out of their way many times to ensure our safety. We were caught in the tail end of the monsoon and most of the streams were running full. The three of them helped us across many times and even rolling extra boulders into the streams for better footholds. They friendly banter kept us entertained on trek and in the evenings at the tea houses. It was a real sense of achievement when we made Larke Pass especially when one of us was 70 years of age!! Thank you all for making this journey a happy and memorable one. We look forward to our next trek soon with Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition.

Our guide, Jayram is more than a guide as he understands us well as he carefully observed and planned our trek on daily basis to ensure our success to cross the Larkya Pass. Backgrounds of our team which comprises of 4 members whom are not very athletics but we do exercise once in a while. Our ages are 44, 61, 63 and 70. This is the third time we joined Nepal Mother Treks & Expeditions. 2019 - Everest Base Camp 2023 - Annapurna Base Camp 2025 - Manaslu Circuit Trek Karna, the in-charge of the company is helpful, responsible and trustworthy person. Jayram, a very experience guide and 100% reliable and responsible. He guided us on all 3 treks He DOESN'T lie... The porters and assistant guide in all our treks are extremely helpful and good. We definitely will recommend Nepal Mother Treks & Expeditions..

Just back from a fantastic 24 days trekking with Nepal Mother House Treks March/April 2025 (Manaslu + side trips & NarPhu). Karna Rana, the Managing Director of this agency, made this successful trip possible by tailoring the itinerary according to our demands + available timeframe. He was extremely patient, helpful and flexible during our trip planning, giving prompt and exact answers to our emails with detailed and exhaustive information. Also, the website of Nepal Mother House proved to be the by far best source of information we found in the internet and helped us decide on side trips etc. The itinerary and our trek were perfectly organized, and pricing competitive. We are 2 female trekkers in our 60s, very fit and experienced, and have been to the Himalayas many times. Karna organized for the 2 of us a local Gorkha team, composed of experienced guide Pratap Magar and strong young porter Kishor Magar. The smooth and enjoyable trek we had was in great part thanks to this amazing tandem. We had so much fun with them. Both were the perfect team to keep us safe, healthy and happy during our trip. Having a guide plus a porter allowed the 2 of us to go at different paces, especially at high altitude. Pratap actually saved the trek for me, for I arrived in Kathmandu with a bad viral conjunctivitis in one eye from the international flight. He took me to a pharmacy in Thamel where a very competent doctor gave me the right diagnose + medicine the night before our departure into the mountains. So, I can say, he saved my eye. Patrap knew how to convince us to get up early and have early starts, so we would enjoy clear skies before the haze would move into the valley. He also made right decisions based on meteorology, so we crossed Larkya La on the best + clearest day of the whole trip, one 1 day before scheduled, and enjoyed wonderful views. He assisted my friend so nicely when she was struggling with the high altitude. He was very flexible. When we asked for his opinion, he gave us clear and honest answers that allowed us to decide how to change the itinerary to spend more time in places we enjoyed, eg to cut the long downhill from Larkya La into 3 journeys. Pratap had a great sense of what we'd like or enjoy and what not, and gave us advise that proved to be absolutely right, like which side trip would be worth the effort and which not, also according to the weather. Pratap was so patient on the trail when we stopped once and again to take pictures. He also was a great photographer taking lovely shot of us in front of the scenery. Our porter Kishor Magar was very strong and fast, always good humoured, kind and smiling. Kishor was very safe on the downhills and on slippery terrain. Kishor also guided at high altitude and on side trips, since he has his guide certificate and is very knowledgeable of the trails. So, e.g. at high altitude, he was hiking ahead with the fastest of us. He always knew the perfect shortcuts. He always waited for us at the right places. In addition, he had so many kind gestures, as helping with our food orders, serving, and preparing the most amazing fruit deserts, for which in addition to our duffle bags and his own backpack, he was carrying kilos of apples and pomegranates! And he is very skilled with phone technology, and always willing to help out whenever needed. He immediately understood that we like rooms with a nice view, and that’s what he made sure we would get at the next destination, when he arrived before us. In summary, we highly recommend the services of Nepal Mother House Treks, it’s a fantastic company that provides wonderful guides and porters and tailored itineraries!

Had a fantastic trip to Nepal, hiking the Manaslu circuit. Organised excellently by Karna from Motherhouse. Great communication. From there we were led by our fantastic guide, Sabut. We felt safe and it was great to have all of our needs already sorted. Would highly recommend. Thanks team!

I did the Manaslu Trek from March 12th to March 22nd and it was by far the best trekking experience of my life and I can’t recommend this enough for how good it was. For this trek I had an incredible guide Sabut and a porter Kishor which did everything possible to make my trip unforgettable. The organization was perfect, from the meeting pre departure to every details during the trek and after finishing. They always prioritize me and make sure I was having the time of my life. The Manaslu trek is incredible and we were very lucky to have amazing weather conditions. Sabut always made sure to explain the plan for the day after and the following days and also gave me the freedom to make decisions on when and which things to do. I also always had a private room which was amazing. Finally since I am a photographer I always had the time to stop and take photos and I never felt rushed in any way which was exactly what I was looking for. Overall I think the company did an outstanding job, Sabut the guide was knowledgeable and extremely nice and I will recommend them to anyone who wants to do this trek!

Jayaram, Kishor and Ganesh made this trek such an incredible experience for all of us! They approached everyday with such an uplifting and joyous attitude, making the trek so much more enjoyable. On top of being observant and guiding us through safely, all of us managed to create such a great bond with each other. We could not have asked for a better team to guide us!

Karna was extremely friendly and professional throughout our entire trip in Nepal. He made the entire process so seamless and easy for me and my group. Jaya is an incredibly funny and knowledgeable guide - always laughing, dancing and singing along the trek. Kishor and Ganesh never failed to impress us with their speed and strength while carrying over 20kg on their backs. Both porters were always so quick to help the second they spotted any of struggling with anything. Despite only knowing the crew for less than two weeks, we all built such a strong bond together and felt like a family in the end 🫶 I cannot recommend Nepal Mother House enough!
