• Sounded great, but never happened

  After booking pre-communication was good with regular emails and a WhatsApp support number. Unfortunately on the day the activity was cancelled with about two hours notice (at 7.30am for a 9.30am pick-up) as it "was too cold", with no alternative offered as we were during peak season. The unfortunate thing of course in this scenario is that it spoils a day that was planned in advance, when you have very little time to try and fix one of your few days in Rovaniemi. As such, had to go with an alternative reindeer tour that was nearer half the price, a lot less special, but didn't have the same weather issues.

  Amazing experience! Reindeer 🦌🦌 were beautiful. Sat and had hot drink by the roaring fire while Reindeer were getting ready then had a lovely sled ride through the frozen forest. Was -29°C so fairly cold but we had a great time. After fed the Reindeers Lichen which they loved . Hotel pickup was on time and Reindeer guide was awesome .

  The safari was well organized from start to end by professional and pleasant personel. It was an absolutely beautiful experience and authentic very much Thanks to the excellent and knowledgeable guide Heli - she was a star 🌟! and the magic surroundings. We were also lucky with having plenty of white snow, a proper cold and gorgeous reindeer, with both personality and horns, pulling the sleds. It was also very interesting to learn about the reindeer herding with a lot of specific details. We were well taken care of. Overall excellent!

  We closed the tanger activity because we were assured that the farm is about 70 km away from Rovaniemi — a crucial element for our choice. A few hours before the activity, we were informed that this is not the case and that the farm is located just a few kilometers from the village of Santa Claus. This is clearly misleading information. In addition, while one day before we were asked the sizes of the uniforms, a few hours before the start we unilaterally changed the attendance time, citing a low number of participants. This change completely disrupted our program, as we had already arranged another activity for the new hour. Tourists organize their trip with a specific program. A company’s business risks (e.g. small interest) cannot be transferred to last-minute customers. Especially when the company itself applies a strict 24-hour cancellation policy for customers, but makes cancellations or substantial changes a few hours in advance. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet neither the description nor the professionalism we expected. I would not recommend it. Disappointing experience. I've already filed a complaint against her.

  We had an amazing time on the Reindeer safari. We highly recommend this. The guide was extremely friendly and took the time to tell us all about her reindeer. We could get really close to the reindeer. The sleigh ride itself was amazing, with the reindeer at times walking right next to you. It was a beautiful ride through the forest in pretty unspoilt countryside. The reindeer were so well looked after. We did not feel rushed at all and could really enjoy this amazing experience. We even had the chance to feed the reindeer after the sleigh ride which was very special. There was time for lasso lessons too if you wanted! The fire in the tipi tent was great to warm up afterwards. It was all so fantastic, genuine and enjoyable. We are a family of 5, 3 teenager girls, and we all really enjoyed it. Thank you so very much.

  This was a nice reindeer experience. We went on a day when it was snowing. I would not recommend on a really cold day as its difficult to be comfortable. There appears to be a lack of communication between transport drivers and tour staff. Our driver got us there half an hour early when the tour staff weren't ready. Then after the tour the driver wasn't there and I had to make inquiries about where our driver was. He was out picking up other tours so there was a lack of communication with the schedule and I would have appreciated finding out a little bit more about the life of a reindeer. I just decided to ask several questions to gain knowledge

  We visited as a family of six and had a fantastic experience. It was not crowded at all, which made everything feel relaxed and unhurried. The reindeer were well cared for and gentle, and the staff were friendly and informative. The sledge ride was a real highlight, very long and peaceful, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the snowy scenery. A wonderful, authentic experience that we’d happily recommend to other families.

  The tour was just beautiful! We were lucky enough to immediately find a crazy Northern Lights. It all started with the punctuality of our guide, Alexis, who recovered us and immediately took us hunting. Alexis is a very kind and conversational person, you can clearly see that he loves his job: he was always positive, charged and enthusiastic. When we found the dawn we were completely alone; even in this our guide was top, choosing the perfect spot. We had all the time we needed to take lots of photos in total tranquility. Also very important is being on a tour with a limited number of people, which made the experience even more special and intimate. Highly recommended!
