Despite challenging weather, Captain Nate and his crew still provided us with an interesting trip. The mother otter and kit was a definite highlight.

The captain was amazing. We didn’t see any whales during our visit but since it wasn’t the right time of year we knew there was little chance. However, the captain tried really hard to find them and we saw all kinds of other beautiful wildlife. This is a must do excursion no matter the time of year!

Major Marine tours crew was great. We saw black bear, gray whale, dall sheep or Mt goats, Dallas porpoise and lots of sea birds. It was a beautiful day. We saw Bear glacier and the spires. A great price for a 4 hour tour.

This was an incredible experience! The boat itself was spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor areas to take in the views. We saw so much wildlife! A humpback whale, sea otters, sea lions, harbor seals, bald eagles and playful dall’s porpoises that swam along the boat. The scenery with the mountains and glaciers in the background was spectacular! We highly recommend this cruise. Our captain was amazing at handling the boat and educating us, and the crew was kind, helpful and clearly love what they do. Take the tour! It’s something you will always remember!

I had a fantastic experience on the Resurrection Bay cruise. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about nature, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife including humpback whales, seals, sea lions, gulls, bald eagles, mountain goats, and most impressively, a pod of killer whales. It was truly an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour. A solid five-star adventure!

The folks at Major Marine Tours were super friendly and helpful. The captain and deck hands all knew the area & wildlife so they were super informative. Even though it was chilly & rainy, we were spotting sea animals within just a few minutes of leaving the harbor and the scenery was still amazing. We did the 4 hour spring wildlife tour & will definitely book another experience with Major Marine Tours next time we visit Alaska!

This was very fun! We saw so many different mammals. I was super excited to see my first whale. We saw many humpback whales. They have free coffee and tea as well. Nice for a cold day.

It’s an extremely nice experience!!! Don’t. Worry about being out in the cold for the whole trip. They have plenty of room inside the cabins for you and you family.

Captain Lauren heard about an Orca sighting and took us to see them. She and the crew pointed out lots of wildlife and interesting land formations. Definitely a trip worth taking.
