The burned-out vehicle yard stores 1,560 vehicles that were evacuated from the roads and settlements surrounding Gaza in the weeks following the surprise attack on Simchat Torah morning, 10/7/2023. Behind each vehicle is a story about families, children, parents, adults and young people who were at the party or in the surrounding areas. Each story adds another part to the heroic spirit that was revealed in full force, alongside the unimaginable cruelty of that terrible event. You can listen to the stories during a guided tour of the site, or by scanning the codes on the information boards and reading the stories independently.
