Our guide was amazing, he knew exactly where to go to see the lights. He explained it all very clearly and the science behind it. We saw the lights and they were incredible! Truly mind blowing, we were very lucky as the conditions were perfect. Our guide was really fun and very enthusiastic, he gave us hot chocolate and biscuits afterwards 🙏🏼. The whole family really enjoyed it, it felt like a life changing experience! 🤩

Our tour guide Thomas was the absolute best! He was genuinely invested and excited for our northern light activity. He tried his best to get us the best viewing. The hot chocolate and the ginger snaps were amazing as well. But the best part was his warm and friendly attitude.

We successfully saw the Northern Lights on our tour. Just a heads up- the tour we went on was 5+ hours when we thought it would be 3. The guide follows the weather and aura reports so if they see you have a chance at seeing the Northern Lights within the next hour, you will wait out there. There are no bathrooms so be prepared.

The tour guide named Kobi was absolutely brilliant! He had specialist equipment that helped guide us to the best locations to see the Aurora's & a network/team that were giving him additional live info on best locations to head towards. The sheer effort he put into this search was incredible and it paid off as we managed to see the aurora's around 1.30am at a location far from Reykyjavic. He gave us some lovely hot chocolate and took some professional photo's of us individually. It was a great night with loads of adventure in trying to hunt down the lights and Kobi is very experienced and knowledgeable in this specialist area. I really recommend this tour / company because they take care of you very well. Make sure you wrap up warm and remember that seeing the lights is dependent on the weather conditions and various other complex astrological factors. The adventure and night drive is in itself absolutely awesome!! Well done to Kobi! A great guy!

Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend this tour. They are a smaller company, and you can truly feel how much they care about their clients and the overall experience. Everything feels more personal, and that kind of attention makes a big difference. Even though the weather didn’t fully cooperate (which is something no one can control in Iceland), their effort, communication, and dedication really stood out. It’s clear they invest in the right equipment to make weather predictions and know the best places to go for a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights. What I appreciated most is how much they genuinely care about their customers and their experience. They also take the time to check in, which shows they really value their clients. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a more personal and thoughtful experience. Plus, they offer multiple chances to try again if you don’t see the lights the first time, which is a great bonus.

Chasing the Northern Lights in Reykjavik is a must-do when visiting Iceland. The down side is this experience is weather dependent. We booked this one specifically because we could cancel and reschedule if the weather wasn't good. I loved the communication from Aurora Reykjavik each day. They let us know whether the night looked promising and whether or not there was a cancelation possibility. Our first night attempt was canceled due to visibility, and they let us know early in the afternoon with enough time for us to plan something else. The next day was off/on blizzards. This seemed unpromising. The messaging told us there was tremendous solar activity, and we might see lights in between bouts of snow. They offered to take anyone still willing to go with the offer we could reschedule if the night turned out to be a fail. So we went along. The guide and team are so professional watching the solar activity. Throughout our 4 hour night, we were in/out of the shuttle bus 4-5 times. It would blizzard then clear up, so we got out. We finally got a window of clear sky for about 30-40 minutes and the lights got visible. Our guide had the professional camera ready to take photos of anyone that wanted them for as long as we wanted. The best part, which is unheard of in America, is the professional photos were included in our cost. Not having to pay extra for them after our trip was a huge bonus. Then we were driven safely back to the drop off spots. I can't say how wonderful it was to partake in this activity and have a driver that safely navigated the city through heavy snow and wind/.

This was an amazing experience. Even in the cold, in the wind, with clouds (we weren't sure we would get to see the lights) Our guide Trond was great, informative and fun, no boring history lessons here they were filled with personality and fun facts. The forecasts looked strong but cloud cover was not as expected. These guys monitor everything and make changes in the moment. Even have cameras up in locations to monitor. We were out for 5 hours so be sure to plan for late night, I promise it's worth it. We can't wait to come back and see it again.
