We are the highest rated Northern Lights tour in Iceland because we have realized that entertainment is a crucial part of the excursion, especially if we have to wait for the Aurora to come out.
We have free retries if you don't see the aurora on your first try, hot chocolate and Gingerbread to warm you up.
The Tour is educational, engaging and entertaining as you will learn about the science and mythology of the northern lights as well as engage in an active chase of the Northern Lights. We depart from Reykjavik.
We are professional Photographers armed with high end equipment able to capture the memories with in high definition, much better than any phone camera can accomplish.
If you want an epic picture we also have some Viking props to take fun pictures, lots of fun and laughter.
We only use minibuses with extra heaters that we keep warm throughout the night so you can always retreat inside to a warm car if you get cold.

Departs from Rerykjavik and hunt down the lights in different locations depending on the forecast.
Iceland
We go out and hunt for the Aurora in various locations depending on the best spot each evening using the latest tech and science to help us find the best spot to see the Aurora.

5.00What a night! We did the tour with Emil as our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the auroras and I learned a lot about them by listening to him. He was upfront and said he will tell us if there’s no chance of spotting the lights. But the night we went he said they will come as all activity was pointing to it! He patiently waited for that peak and told us it’s coming. And when it did, wow, what a show! He was so wonderful at taking pictures of all of us as well! I can’t wait to see the pictures that he took. It was a bucket list item checked off the list! If you want a tour with a knowledgeable guide who won’t stop until you get the best view possible, go with Aurora Viking. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

5.00Tomas was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. Using high tech detection technology + a bit of luck with the conditions, he found us the most extraordinary northern lights just five minutes outside of Reykjavik. We were able to observe the aurora vividly dance across the sky For about 30 minutes. It was incredible to catch this ethereal natural phenomenon. Many thanks for this incredible experience.

5.00Emil was an amazing guide who spared no second in showing us everything the lights had to offer. We had such an amazing night and even got to see them dance! Emil was extremely generous with the photos and told us so many fun facts along the way. Would definitely recommend this tour, it was the best experience ever!

5.00Trond our guide was amazing. Took time to take beautiful photos of the northern lights of everyone in the group. Was extremely knowledgeable and would have stayed as long as it took so we had an amazing experience. Served up hot chocolate. It was -12, so be prepared for extreme cold! Would highly recommend this trip.

Trond was an excellent guide filling us with information about the Notrhern Lights as well as some Icelandic lore. The NL has been on my bucket list for years and I was not disappointed.
