5.00I feel lucky I found Icelandic Roamers last minute. They responded fast, which helped me secure a private tour despite the short notice. Our night started with doubt for an hour. The sky was covered with clouds, and I thought we would miss it. But Micahl did not stop. He drove us about 45 minutes north, chasing clear skies. Then it happened. The lights appeared, dancing above us. It felt surreal. One of those moments you never forget.

5.00Amazing experience with Miro! He brought all the gear and Icelandic experience to make our Northern Lights evening magical. He had a laser light to show us where the lights were emerging, setting up the photography equipment to be ready for every possible moment, including a picture of the two of us with the northern lights above us. It was a freezing and very windy night so he made sure we stayed warm in the car to wait for just the right moments to see the beautiful green lights. My husband‘s glove blew out of the car and across the road into a field. In the pitched dark, Miro actually found the glove with his headlamp and other flashlight. He was prepared for everything even hot chocolate - it was a welcome added touch to a perfect evening! We came to Iceland for the northern lights and felt blessed that we were able to see them on the first night and have Miro make it all possible with wonderful photographs to share and bring home. Thank you Miro!

5.00We had an incredible night. The lights were fantastic and our guide did an amazing job finding the right spots to see them and getting excellent photos. He was also great at teaching us how to photograph the lights on our own cameras. It was all just perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of seeing the northern lights in Iceland, and if it's a special occasion (anniversary, engagement, etc.) you can trust Icelandic Roamers to get it right!

5.00My wife and I booked a private Northern Lights tour with **Icelandic Roamers** during our honeymoon in Iceland, and our guide **Miro** made it one of the most special experiences of our entire trip — honestly, one of the most meaningful bucket-list moments of our lives. ✨ From the moment we met him, Miro was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. Spending the evening together felt less like a tour and more like exploring Iceland with a knowledgeable friend who genuinely loves his country. His passion for Iceland’s nature, history, and language was contagious, and we learned so much throughout the night. What really stood out was how much effort he put into helping us understand the science behind the Northern Lights. He explained how the aurora forms, how to interpret forecasts, and even how we could try to find them ourselves on other nights. It made the experience feel deeper and more meaningful than simply chasing lights in the sky. Miro also curated the experience around what we wanted from the night. Since this was our honeymoon and we had booked a private tour, he made sure the pace and stops fit exactly what we were hoping for. We always felt completely safe with him driving through the winter conditions, and it was clear he knew the terrain and weather patterns extremely well. One thing that impressed us tremendously was his persistence. He truly goes the extra mile to find clear skies and aurora activity. And on top of that, his re-try policy is by far the best we saw anywhere in Iceland, which shows how committed he is to making sure guests actually get to experience the lights. And the photos… absolutely incredible. 📸 The pictures Miro took of us under the aurora are some of our most treasured memories from the trip. Not only are they technically fantastic, but he also knew exactly how to position us and capture the moment perfectly. By the end of the night, we realized we hadn’t just had an amazing tour — we had spent hours with a fascinating, kind, and genuinely wonderful human who clearly adores Iceland and loves sharing it with others. If seeing the Northern Lights is on your bucket list, we cannot recommend booking with **Miro and Icelandic Roamers** enough. It was truly magical and something we will never forget. 💚

5.00Miro was an outstanding tour guide. We traveled with our family and a group of friends, and he made the entire experience unforgettable. He was extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable throughout our time together. He’s also a fantastic photographer and helped capture some incredible moments from our trip. In fact, we enjoyed the experience so much that we ended up booking three private tours with him. I rarely write reviews, but the level of service we received truly compelled me to share this one.
