Rhine Falls
Enjoy approx. one hour of leisure time at the mighty Rhine Falls, one of Switzerland's major attractions. Delight in unique views of Europe's biggest waterfalls from the panoramic lift and see how an average of 700'000 liters of water per second plunge across a width of 150 meters into the basin below. A beautiful, short stroll on the Belvedere panoramic trail takes you to the viewing platform right above the falls where you feel the spindrift of the rumbling waters. Take an optional boat ride (summer only) close to the falls. Visit the Historama at the patriarchal castle to learn more about the interesting history of this unique place.

5.00My wife and I booked the trip last minute and were not disappointed. We travelled for about an hour before reaching the largest waterfall in Europe. During the journey we learned lots of fun facts about Zurich. The Rhine falls were beautiful!! I would definitely recommend adding on the boat trip to get extra close We would like to give a special mention to our guide Andrea who was extremely friendly and helpful! She really made us feel valued and was able to answer any questions which we had. I would highly recommend this company in the future…they treated everyone as individuals and were great value for money!!

5.00The falls are beautiful, pay the extra 10CHF to take the boat ride, it was worth it. Views are great and the colors when I went (autumn) were fantastic as well.
Fantastic tour, fantastic tour guide, and fantastic views. My eyes will never unsee what we were able to see.

5.00We had a great time learning about the history of the country on the ride to the falls. I am hearing impaired and have to read lips in addition to wearing my hearing aids and Olga went above and beyond to help me. I will never forget it. The boat ride, the view of the falls, and the museum were great. It was definitely a fantastic trip and I would do it again without hesitation.

5.00Checkin was smooth and easy. During the ride to the falls our tour guide was providing lots of information on switzerland and the falls. We had plenty of time to see the falls and walk around on our on. We also did the boat ride which cost about 12 chf extra. It last about 15 mi minutes. The boat ride was worth it in our opinion. We also briefly went through an old town as well. We had fun and would recommend the tour.

5.00What an amazing waterfall, beautiful and powerful place. We did the add extra boat ride up to the face of the falls which was amazing. Loved watching the view from the bus and enjoyed listening to the guide informative commentary about the area and history of your surroundings.

4.00The trip is very pastorale. The guide provides plenty of anecdotal information. The part with the boat is nice, not too rocky, but there is some getting wet (light spray), and it should be clear. Lots of free time after the boat. Not clear why the trip back is through Germany.

5.00The Rhine Falls tour was fabulous. We had a great tour guide (Andrea) who explained many things on the ride to and from the falls. The Rhine Falls was very beautiful and great to see. If time permits take the boat tours, even if it’s for only 15 minutes. Worth it to see the falls from a different angel.
Our Guides Bjorn and Olga were excellent on the trips that we took with Best of Switzerland tours.
