We’ll visit two carefully chosen wineries, tailored to your level of wine knowledge and the type of experience you’re looking for; whether that’s exploring cutting-edge modern cellars, meeting family winemakers, or diving into the history of the region. At each stop, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of three wines, giving you a real flavour of Ribera del Duero.
Between visits, we’ll take a break for lunch at a local restaurant (self-pay), where you can enjoy regional specialities or something lighter at your own pace.
With a maximum of 8 guests from a max of 2 groups, the atmosphere is relaxed, flexible, and always personal. Whether you’re just starting to explore wine or already a seasoned taster, this is the ideal way to discover Ribera del Duero in a single day.

What To Expect
Madrid
Drive to Ribera del Duero. Approx 2 hours.
Bodegas Nabal
Our second visit is to a relatively new project, but one founded by people with a long history of winemaking. We walk through the vineyards (weather permitting) to talk about vine growth and to show you a small structure known as a 'guardaviña'. We'll then head into the winery to discuss the various processes used in their winemaking before heading to the cathedral ageing room. Our visit concludes with a tasting of three wines and snacks.

5.00What an awesome tour with Michael. We checked out two wineries, each with their own unique winemaking style and model. Michael is very knowledgeable and passionate in wine. He took great care of us and explained everything so patiently. The lunch he arranged was fantastic, especially the baby lamb! Highly recommend this tour.

5.00We truly had a wonderful experience with Michael. He was always punctual and, before our trip, very communicative to ensure we had the best experience possible. Michael picked us up from our hotel in Madrid and then we visited two wineries in Ribera del Duero. In between the two winery visits, we stopped at a terrific place for lunch as well that Michael recommended. The first winery was more modern and there was no skimping on the tasting. The second winery was almost ancient with winding tunnels in underground caves and also delicious wine. And lunch was basically a Michelin starred restaurant without the insane prices; amazing. We are looking forward to returning to Spain and exploring more of the wine regions with Michael again!
