After you have visited the Temples, be sure to add this countryside tour to your vacation. A bicycle ride through the countryside with my tour guide, Pov, was a wonderful experience. You will ride down dirt roads among the locals. You will see Cambodian homes and people going about their daily routine. I met farmers, basket weavers, kids at school, monks at school, fruit vendors, and more. This is not a shopping tour, and there is no pressure to purchase anything. Pov explains the details of country living from firsthand experience. Pov speaks very good English and was right on schedule. The dry season is just as interesting as the wet season

We absolutely love the tour! Samnang was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. The bikes we used were brand new with suspension and quality components. We visited several amazing places and had a very delicious lunch. We got to see the real world of Cambodia. We highly recommend it 🥰

We really enjoyed doing this. Samnang is a cheery, relaxed, friendly guy and was really patient and helpful with our 7 year old when she struggled at times to get though the puddles. Some of the cycling is a challenge for the less fit/inexperienced, but our teen boys loved it and coped easily. We did it on a very rainy day though, so we were soaked through and the water didn’t help the terrain! But we didn’t let it spoil the fun. It was a great experience, we didn’t see a single other tourist and the scenery through the rice fields was beautiful. It gave us a real flavour of local, rural life.

An excellent tour. Rural indeed. Hardly any paved roads. Not too far outside the city, but you feel like you're in a different world. We visited some local artisans, tried some local food and drink, saw some villages and the countryside, all while Samnang, my guide, told me about what we were looking at. I was lucky enough to be the only one who had signed up. This tour will let you see a very different side of Cambodia, something I doubt most tourists will ever see. It was very eye opening. Definitely worth it, and highly recommended.

Amazing experience. Our guide took us to see local villages, including a couple homes where craftsman were at work making stone sculptures and basket weaving. We also visited a local school. We were able to sample local food and were supplied with fresh fruit and ice water throughout the trip, which helped with the hot weather. The roads were very bumpy, but that lent to the air of adventure. Bicycles were very nice.

The trip ended up being just my wife and the guide. She had a fabulous experience despite the rain arriving quite torrentially ! This was unlucky as any other day she would have been back before the rain arrived. The guide looked after my wife amazingly well and she was so positive after the trip. She really got to see rural real Cambodia off the beaten track and she felt very safe. She saw remote villages, rice fields, a pagoda and a school. The tour was about 25km. My wife isn’t a regular cyclist and had no issue with getting around on the mountain bike. Even more heartwarming was that she left her sunglasses at the office and the day after he kindly brought them all the way to our hotel at Siem Reap. The trip was a wonderful experience that my wife is so glad she did. Go in the morning to see people working in the fields.

Our bike ride with Samnang surpassed our expectations. Our highlights included: 1) Surprise private tour. It was just my boyfriend, Samnang and I. Samnang's English is excellent and understandable, which has not been the case in our other tours in Southeast Asia. 2) Biking through the rice fields during harvesting season. Samnang knew some of the local farmers, who gave us a sickle and taught us how to harvest, which was fun and educational. 3) Biking through truly rural and local villages where we were the only tourists around. It was very serene and some of the environments were stunning. 4) Samnang has 2 biking itinerary. The terrain we chose was fun and adventurous; it included some paved road, but mostly it was mostly dirt and some sand. 5) At the end, he invited us for some beers to meet his wife and two kids. They were a very generous, interesting and lovely family.

We did the Biking Tour with Rice Fields and Villages, we visited also a school, and at the end we took a boat tour on the Tonle Sap with a stop at a Temple, and a tour with a little Boat (Kayak) through Mangroves to the Village( after Rainy Season). Our Tourguide Mr Samnang was just amazing. He explained us everything, and showed us all important sights from Nature to Villages. We cycled around 40km this day, but it was really o.k. If you come early in November, you see the green Ricefields before the Harvest. So overall we just can recommend this Tour and the best Tourguide ever, Mr. Samnang.

Our guide went out of his way to make our trip as pleasant as possible . We stopped when my 7 year old needed a break and the sights were great.
